Hope they don't get cute and do that 80s sandwich dance on you, and not just cuz of your aversion to chicks.

Panama City is about to get wrecked by Cat. 4 Michael.

Please be careful, ladies and gentlemen.

Some of the videos I've seen coming from Panama City, FL have been pretty harrowing. I'm not 1oo% ready to engage the image of flying roofs quite yet. Too soon. o_O

As of the day before yesterday according to what the weather guy said, that bitch Leslie is such a stalker, she may come back. Here’s hoping he’s wrong about her.

We were out of the cone, and thankfully aside from a few gusts, the wind passed us by. I was expecting minor wind damage but have none, and there were no tornadoes in the area.

The Panhandle is another story, though. The footage of roofs and buildings being blown around like paper is truly frightening, and they’re saying on the news that due to storm fatigue, a lot of people didn’t evacuate. (Also, it’s never mentioned, but evacuating ain’t cheap, which is a factor for many.)

Were you in Florida the year we became The Plywood State? I was living in Melbourne Beach that year. Jeanne's little loop-de-loop was 100% a dick-move. o_O

Last night (8:25) an earthquake (6.4 Richter) happened in an area in the west of Iran. Luckily despite the intense quake it was not the cause of a notable damage in the nearby cities and villages. The Seismic station in the area reported that the earthquake happened 7 kilometers underground.

There was not lost of life, but based on the last news 250 persons were injured that the wound of most of them was not serious and were discharged from hospital after the hours.

From last night until now I have not listened to the new news but at the same time the news reporter told, the earthquake damaged some houses in the villages partially but didn't happen any destruction.

I hope the damage and injuries are minimal and the government and associated services are able to get everyone into safe temporary shelter as soon as possible.

Tow years ago, near this season another earthquake happened just in the area (7.3 Richter)! It had many damages (mostly in the far villages with simple houses). I don't remember how many life lost and how many were injured but it was one of the hardest quakes.

This time there was not a serious damage but as as I followed news Two killed in Kurdistan of Iraq and about 600 injured in Iran (the quake happened near the border of Iran and Iraq).

From last night all organizations in Iran are active and are helping the people. They sent many اhelp and rescuer groups and facilities to the area to respond all requirements of the people, among several helicopters for any probable emergency situation . They are serving the people by all their efforts until now

Is it gonna affect England's west coast? My family lives there, hence why I'm asking.

Is Diana a dangerous storm like Katrina or other hurricanes that I heard their names previously in the news (I don't remember other names)?

In this situation, people must reinforce their houses (doors, windows or other weak parts) and also prepare a safe shelter.

Well hot damn! It is going to be in the low 50's, maybe a bit breezy, with
sunshine despite the days getting shorter. I am not so happy with the night
dropping down into the low 20's or teens, but what can I do.

Sorry, Wrey, missed this. Nope, although I've spent lots of time in Florida over the years, this was my first hurricane season. Jeanne sounded like a real bitch.

@flawed personality I'm sending you lots of good vibes.

I'm safe so far. I'm not in any of the counties on that list, thankfully. Having said that, I got soaked, although I dried off fairly quickly. It was pretty cold too, but we've had worse.
I'm out again tomorrow, for my walking group funnily enough. Here's hoping we won't all get blown away. :p

Yellow weather warning in place all this week for the entirety of Ireland. Serious snow, as they are calling it. My bus didn't show this morning, and it's going to drop to -7C through the week. Hopefully it should be slightly warmer next week, but for now it's snow, ice, fog, and frost.
