Wow, that's one of the worst things I've seen. Also, I did not realize that Feb 14 was now also the Day of Purity.
I've often wondered what I would think of the U.S. if I did not live here. I know that there are sure a lot of things that would make me hate us, or at least not think too highly of us. There is a lot that I love about us, though. But I am sad about a lot of the bad things we do to the world.

Yeah, I enjoyed that, too. Hasselbeck has led such a charmed life -- it's astounding to me that she can't see how lucky she was and how she has no empathy for people who have not had her luck.
Yeah I remember when I first saw it, I was like WTF!? I didn't realise about the Day of Purity either. Thank the Lord, such a thing doesn't exist in the UK. While the purity concept and some of its odd teachings are in British churches, it's not half as bad as some articles and blogs I've come across about Christian purity culture in the US.
If that was meant as a sarcastic dig at me, I actually haven't a clue what you're on about, quite literally. And in this instance, I am glad for my... I guess poorer ability to read between the lines. And if it's not a dig at me, then erm... I still actually haven't a clue what it's about... In any case, if you don't like my views, then... erm... all right? lol. Don't read them.
Wait - Jesus murdered his childhood friend?!? Can I get a bit more information on that? Like... chapter and verse would be nice! (I'm pretty excited about this - gives a new slant to the What Would Jesus Do? thing...)
There are some books left out of the New Testament that said Jesus pushed a kid off a roof. The Catholics left it out of the Cannon. Apparently he killed more than one kid, or didn't , it's all controversial of course: http://www.gnosis.org/library/inftomb.htm
