The not happy thread

Man, I'm sorry. Definitely sounds like a frustrating day! I hope it gets better from here!

Well, my boss just texted me. We had two cashiers who reached their final warning at work and had to be terminated. Just finished terming both of them. I liked them, too...if only they could have showed up to work on time.

 

Oh don't hate yourself, bad days like this happen. It'll be a lot better next week. I'm sorry that today is so awful though for ya. =[

Our pastor is getting a new appointment this June. Which means that John, Nancy, and my favorite little baby Becca are all moving. The way appointments work, I will probably never see them again after I leave for my trip to Honduras.

 

Sad. I hope you find a way to keep in touch with them.

I found out today that the assistant store manager who works at my sister's store (yes...my sister works at the same company I do, just a different store) is going to be the new ASM at our store. Wouldn't be a big deal, but her ASM is kiiiiind of an incompetent b*tch, and the fact that my sister works at that store means that I can't just apply for the now-open position over there and transfer stores, because I can't work at the same store as any family members.

Gaahhhhhhh. I know there will be other openings, and that I'm good enough at my job to get one, but right now I'm just incredibly frustrated, wondering why I work so much harder than the other managers at my store when I make so much less than them...

If you feel underappreciated for your obvious awesomeness, you should look for another opening. You should feel happy at all times!

And remember, here at the WF we all know and realize your awesomeness and we love you for it!!!!

That is so disappointing Heather, I am sure you are exceedingly qualified, but it is often this quality that limits people in a setting run by slothful, incompetent, and complacent oafs. Best of luck in your future job affairs.

Rehearsals have been running really late. I had to wake up early. Now I am off to spend 9 hours with 4 month old twins. Not looking forward to a day of crying and dirty diapers. I already have a headache. But...I need the money....so...off I go!

I'm not happy, because I've been sat here all bloody day, getting absolutely nowhere with this Land Law essay. And I have another (longer) one to write for EU. And every hour brings me closer to the deadline.

I can do it, and I will get it done. But my progress is just so slow that I'm getting infuriated. And I can't stop thinking that it's all time that could be spent writing fiction. Or playing tetris.

 

That's what's kept me from even starting, bubbs. I will get something done tonight....hopefully. Ugh, ****.

Why do they give deadlines during our time off? We're completely out of work-mode. I can't get motivated either. I can't even get motivated to try.

I am sad because I can't really move around with my boot, and it's NICE out, so while I desperately want to get active, I can't! And it makes it worse that my mom put up the trampoline while I was sleeping this past weekend and I see it EVERY DAY AND I CAN'T JUMP ON IT.

Most on Youtube (not all) are idiots. Jut ignore them, and forget about it, because some jerk feels big insulting you over the internet and they're not worth it.
