The not happy thread

I have this bronchitis-like cough that is abnoxiously loud. People stare at me when I'm coughing in the classroom. I'm hoping my doctor will give me codeine cough syrup tomorrow.

Also, I've figured out that my writing late at night is not as good as my daytime writing, but I don't have free time to write from 8 to 12 each day, lol. So instead I'm writing in like 15-minute intervals and such. It's slowed down my story and zapped a bit of my momentum. But I love my story, so I perservere.

 

I'm not happy today because I dramatically overslept >.<
when I finally woke up, going to school was no longer any use and I had completely missed my driving-instructor - which is another step away from my driving licence, and that blows =_=

 

I think you ought to invest in a good old fashioned LOUD alarm clock

 

The drummer I met flaked out on me and joined another band.

I guess it's better now before something go going than later.

 

I'm not happy, there was a mouse in my cereal box.

 

This media essay is hell. I'm only on page two of the research study article thingy and it's twenty five pages long. And then I have to start writing the essay about it with a load of theory.

 

That's what I'm saying about this Milton/Spenser Essay. It's disgustingly difficult for the time frame we were given to work on it...

 

Ah, I'm so glad my University days are over. I forgot how demoralising it could be to be indoors writing essays on the cusp of summer.

My course isn't even Media..stupid compulsory of having to take a core module from another course.

I know this is pretty low on the scale of things to be unhappy about. More of a gripe to be honest. But, don't you just hate it when you go into the cinema with no food yourself. You'd think the primary interest of most movie goers would be to see the film right?

Oh no no noo. It was like feeding time at the zoo...hog heaven with some noisy banter with their significant other thrown in!

I mean, come on, hearing a twit who can't close his mouth systematically crunch through 200 pieces of popcorn has to be a special form of torture doesn't it.

Am I just more sensitive than most?

 

Sounds repulsive! I hate people who can't eat with their mouths closed or are really loud eaters. Makes me want to throw up.

I'm not unhappy, just in agony at the moment. Thankfully Tobin is sleeping right now because I am in that much pain I can't pick him up... I hurt my hip and I don't know how and now when I sit, walk, stand, etc, I get a shooting pain right through the right hip and today it has gotten so bad that I keep collapsing when I pick Tobin up. I'm so worried that I'm going to end up hurting him. I wish Dan wasn't at work so he was here to help me out right now. I've taken as many painkillers as I can for now, and they've done nothing for the pain at all. This isn't good, isn't good at all!

 

That sounds pretty bad, Torana. You might wanna get it checked out if it still hurts in the morning. Until then, maybe a heating pad would help?


Anyway, I've been tasting stomach bile in the back of my throat since yesterday. I'm not sick or anything, it's just this taste. And no amount of teeth-brushing, spitting, or fizzy-drink-drinking will make it go away.

 

I made an appointment to see the doctor. But I can't get in for another 6 weeks. And I don't think I'll be taking anymore painkillers either. I've been itchy ever since I took them and it's driving me insane!!!!!

And tasting stomach bile doesn't sound nice at all. I hope you get it sorted out soon.

Yep. So. Lost my temper this morning. Lost my lift to the train station for the exam.

This is my mother. So unfortunately not. That said, she can apologise to me for some of the comments this morning. Temperamental: yes; moronic: no.

I made friends with someone two days ago, and we get along really well, only I get the impression he sees it as more than a friendship. He says so many nice things to me and compliments me far too much so I'm not feeling that happy about reminding him we are only friends. GAH. ;/

 

You just have to be gracious. Accept the compliments but always be firm and unwavering about your intentions.

Don't let him be over familiar though - you've only known him two days!

 

Turns out I am highly allergic to Codeine... even though I've had it in the past, I have all of a sudden, become allergic to it. I ended up looking like a lobster today. I had hives from head to toe, I was itching like madness, my throat swelled and I have hives on the back of my tongue and it took an hour at the hospital to get some antihistamines to get rid of it all. Was not a very good day. Because of it, I Didn't get my housework done and my house is still a mess. sigh!

 

Crikey, sorry to hear that. I hope you're feeling better that sounds like a nightmare.
