The not happy thread

I'm going to bible study tonight.

Normally, I'd be happy with this. I mean, I love all the people in my bible study. They're great.

But tonight I'm going without Keedy, and that makes me scared. It's hard for me to express what I'm thinking a lot of the time, and Keedy can usually pick up on what I'm trying to say and plug in the holes for me.

 

Cut myself while shaving. Yes, it is an odd time of day for a shave, but that isn't the point. The point is that it's a fairly deep cut and I now have a lovely trickle of blood going down my neck.

 

I had a friend who had similar problems. It ended up that he had a Hiatal Hernia. Its a type of hernia where part of the stomach protrudes into the thoracic cavity (where your lungs are) through the natural hole where your esophagus joins your stomach. It can cause heartburn, nausea and pain after eating, difficulty breathing from pressure on the diaphragm, and general weakness.

I'm not a doctor, obviously, so I'm not going to diagnosis you but it's a possibility. Acid reflux drugs worked on my friend for a while as well, but they didn't completely treat the symptoms either. I wouldn't give up on going to the doctor though, just maybe that one?

My already foul mood just got a bit crappier. an exgirlfriend logged onto my forum I set up for the two of us and our friends. I had thought I was over her but... well not so much I guess. Add to how things ended with us(with a performance by me that could get me dumbass of the year...) I just... bleh.

Also I think I am psychic. Before I fell asleep last night I had predicted that she would log on soon. Not sure why, was just a gut instinct.

Actually I am not really in a crappy mood I am just numb. Which I don't like at all.

 

Aww Unit, since I'm a girl(no I'm NOT justifying myself ), and my relationships have been (fairly) civilised I doubt I understand your situation. But since a hug always helps I'm going to give you one. *virtually hugs Unit*.

 

I am not happy. I've got a bad case of the hives right now, and I'm miserable. The back of my skull feels like it's on fire! (This is what poison-ivy must feel like to those who suffer bad allergic reactions). And the sucky part? I don't know why I got them in the first place. I don't have any allergies of any sort, and I've always been a healthy individual. Ugh :|

 

Oh, no! The hives? That's unfortunate. I've never had them before, but I've heard they can be itchy and miserable. On the bright side, it means you can stay in for the day and watch cartoons.
Actually though, hives are most common when someone is either stressed out or has contracted a viral infection. Allergies and eating something weird are actually less common reasons for hives. I hope you're not sick, and if you're stressed out, take some deep breaths and maybe nap?

I mentioned that two girls were raped on campus last week. Well, make that four girls in one week --police think they've all been attacked by the same guy. The description of the guy isnt very helpful either. White, average height and weight, dark hair and eyes... just like everyone else on campus. Like, if I were taller and male, that'd be a description of me! And the weird thing is that he is attacking people at weird times. Early morning hours and early evening hours. It's scary!

My good mood has rapidly been flushed down the drain :/. Today when I switched my cell phone on it was to discover 0 messages. I text people and get no replies. Then start the calls. People who have NEVER called me and just text normally did today to shout at me and that pissed me off.
Apparently something very important happened today and I don't yet know what it is because the incoming sms service in my cell is not working. No one is ready to talk about it. They just want to shout. Thank you very much.
And then John. I forwarded an evaluative message to him and hemust have replied. Obviously, I did not get it.
Him inboxing me:Ur nt doin me any favour by being so obstinate n nt replyin.
I immediately replied with three messages in succession:
1.Kisme?
I did not get any message :O
2.I am also now divorced and in a relationship with Manasi .
Oh and I got my name back !
3.Okay, I'm not getting any message on my cell :/. Rauni just called. Apparently message sending fail ho rahi hai.

No reply. I got Vaibhav, his best-friend asking me if I don't have balance. I have Ayush asking me why I don't reply. I have Rauni actually texting to fb status to esp. tell me that she's not coming to school tommorow and asking me to text back in reply because hers aren't reaching me.
What HE does is call me obstinate. Sumiran just called and told me apparently he called her last night. I was up till 1 waiting this morning for his call. I thought maybe he's slept early and slept too. I get a message from him at 1:45.
He did not see it right to call Me. But he called Sumi for a thing that happened one week ago and which I had already told him she wasn't angry at him for, just hurt. And it's not like they don't go to the same school and coaching. I just get to see him in school And that too different sections .
And then he has the audacity to call me Neigh as if everything's allright! I am so so angry at him. And totally not talking to him.

To be honest though, this just threw me into a hurricane of confusion.

 

One of my Mum's friends was a detective, and he told me most rapes are perpetrated in the early morning.

He told me that (and sorry if you already know this), during times like these, it's best to do most of your activity in the late morning and afternoon; also to make sure you choose routes around campus that are near areas with people. In addition, keep your hair tied up in a tight bun when you're out in public (loose hair is easier to grab and pull upon), and if someone follows you immediately walk to an area with people, and whilst you're walking, keep in eye contact with them and speak outloud (even if it's just pretending to talk on your cell).

 

I found out that there's a Doctor Who videogame in the making, but it's not coming to the US.

Fine. I'll just play the videogames that we Yanks get and where we put up reviews, walkthroughs and spoilers before you lot can even touch the game!

Except UK videogames do not work with US appliances. I'd have to buy a whole bunch of complicated stuff just to make it compatible.

I'll just make a character called "The Doctor" for Fallout: New Vegas and pretend that through a freak series of events, he wounded up in post-nuclear apocolyptic New Vegas, TARDIS and Sonic screwdriver destroyed, the pocket watch that captures Timelord Essences lost/destroyed and the Doctor must roam the Mojave to reclaim his lost memories and find a way back to his time.

How does that sound?

 

Exam tomorrow. I just... it's not that I haven't learned for it or something, but I have this feeling I'll forget everything and it's just stress, you know. I hate it.

I'm crying about this, but I'll go ahead and put it under a spoiler because it's kind of gross, what happened.

Almost two weeks ago, a boy from my graduating class in high school went missing in Kentucky, where he was attending school. Police discovered that the boy (18) had met a 40-year-old guy online, and two weeks ago they met up; there is security footage from the university that shows the boy willingly getting into the guy's car. But he never came back... When police questioned the guy, he said that Andrew walked home after they had met up and that he hadn't seen him since.

But that was a lie... Just an hour ago, police arrested the guy for murder, abuse of a corpse (the guy admitted to having sex with the body), and tampering with police evidence.

As cliche as it sounds, I never thought that things like this happened in real life, at least not here. I hope the man gets a life sentence, without parole.

Meanwhile, two of the four guys who 'hazed' (raped) freshmen on our high school basketball team last year are now playing college ball. One of them just wrapped up his hearing or trial or whatever, and he got like 20 hours of community service.

Things just aren't right. I hate people.

 

That's just so wrong. And sad...
