Well, I was planning to take the French Revolution class next semester and had talked with the teacher who teaches the class.

...He won't be teaching next semester. He'll be retiring. :( Even worse, the class may not be avaliable again until this time next year so they can recruit a new French historian.

NNOOOOOO!!!! I knew I should've signed up for the class when I had the chance. I should've signed up for it when I had the chance.

I'm going to bash my head into the wall before staring out into the rain and wallow in my self-pity. :(

    Stupid...stupid...stupid...stupid...

One of my Aunt's dogs (my dog's mummy) had to be put to sleep last night.

You prepare for one sorrow, another one comes. :( You put up a great fight little darling; more than anyone could expect from such a little doggy. Sleep tight Tallulah. We'll always love and remember you in our hearts. ♥

I'm so sorry, Ash. That must be really difficult. I'm worrying about that day, too, because my cat is getting very old.

Choice between losing the play-off final and Hannah saying she's seeing someone else? Losing the play-off final, every time.

Made all the more completely gutting by the fact she was pretty much the last person round here who I talked to. All my mates have sodded off and I'm here on my own. So I can't even convene the brain trust to have a moan to for half an hour before we see what crap's on the telly.

    Sorry to hear that Dante.
I can't see Sunderland v. Middlesborough setting pulses racing but The Ghost at 9pm on C4 is very worthwhile.

    I spend 40 hours a week doing a job I hate.
I spend a further 15 hours a week commuting to and from a job I hate.

On the bright side I might get fired.

Wondering why my 'Share your World Maps' thread seems to have disappeared off the forum. Hmmm.

Yes, that's very odd. Are you sure it hasn't just slipped to a different page? If it actually disappeared for good then that's......very strange. o_O

Blueflare, dude, that really sucks about your job. You should sent out some resumes and cold-call as much as you can, try to get an interview with another job opportunity that you would like. Then, even if you don't get fired, you can just quit and still have a job to go to.

I woke up all sniffly and sore-throaty this morning. It's not even cold here. Ew.

I looked around, but there's no sign of it. I can't see how it would be deleted for breaking any kind of rule either.

I'm almost completely sure I will have to drop out of Linear Algebra. Juggling that with two Calculus courses, Computer Science, and Computational Mathematics, I can never find time to increase my mark for Algebra.

The problem is that the vast majority of my second year University courses will have Algebra as a prerequisite, meaning I'll basically end up a year behind.

    Do not want.

Cheddar, I think you should find the time to work more on the Linear Algebra. As you say, if you put it off, it will impact your futire courseload.

Don't take this the wrong way, but maybe if you spend the time you spend here to get some help with the LA, you'd be able to keep up your schedule.

As for you kids turning 22 and 23, how will you cope when you approach my age (58, and loving it). :)

I hope you don't find my presence here irritating. Sorry if you do. :p

Jokes aside, the problem is that I usually go to Math Aid Centers and my professor's office hours to figure out the questions I don't understand (which is almost always at least half the assigned questions). This means that I have designated time frames in which I can actually work on Algebra. It's pretty limiting.

    Ewww...math.

I'm currently in an Advanced Placement Statistics class and I'm hardly getting by with a D. This stuff is harder than I thought it would be, and it's too late for me to back out now.

Strangely enough, considering my love for reading, writing, and all things English, I've got an F in my AP English class. But it's because I missed a deadline for a large research project we're doing. I'm a horrible procrastinator.

EDIT: Just realized that I actually still have homework for English to finish tonight. And I'm tired. Grawr.

Sorry to hear about that, Dagolas. :(

Minor stuff compared to some, but for the first time in a fair while, I'm actually unsure of whether a girl I want to ask out will say yes. I'm usually pretty good at figuring these things out. Gah.

Working from home today and I'm struggling with the sheer volume of reading I'm required to do (Much of it really tedious) ...After a while the brain just overloads with words...

Anyone who studies law will know what I mean
