Well, some people sometimes have long rainy weeks by Tuesday. It's happened to me. Sometimes it's already a long hard week by lunchtime Monday. If this hasn't happened to you, you're lucky.
Well it's still hotter than the surface of the sun in London and I'm sweating like a pervert at a beach volleyball match.
Tenderiser, are you sure we didn't just wake up on opposite sides of the globe? Like I'm in London and you're in Mobile? Because I want the steaming, sunny heat back! >:[
Dear Hot, Sunny Weather in London: You are needed here in Mobile, Alabama. Sincerely, Link the Writer (aka, John Flukinger)
Nice heavy rain this morning, the prefectures to the north and south are under severe weather warnings, but we've only got a watch, so it's off to work soon. The wind will probably kill my umbrella, and the rain is sideways anyway, but oh well...
You need to find a man that doesn't look backwards, when it comes to relationships. I am like that. Once we are done, that is it.
I don't think so. I have been before. To be completely honest, every woman I leave winds up meeting her Mr. Perfect. So that is my Magick/Super Power, dating women dumping them, and them getting with the guy of their dreams. It only works in that direction though, it won't work if they leave me. I call it my good luck curse, seeing as it only works in that direction. (though as a rule of thumb is about 3-4 months for it to actually work. Any less time than that and it is not so good).
Severe winds get us the day off, since the rail service gets restricted/cancelled. Anything else, we've still got to be there, but I think attendance is going to be pretty thin today.
Those are always my favorite days. Maybe it's because I live where I live with very little rain, but when it pours and attendance at school/work/whatever is down, it always feels different enough to shake the monotony.
Bloody pansies. Here it could be blowing a good 60-70 mph and you still have to show up. Guess us nothern AZrs are just a wee bit more resilient to wind than ye common folk. Granted where Spencer is, he don't have to worry about the slush fest of shit, during winters.
Japan's got one of the most efficient and reliable mass-transit systems in the world. Also, however, one of the safest, which means that when there's a chance of the wind causing a derailment, they shut things down. I've worked some places where multiple lines converge, but my current school is served by only a single line, and when that line is down, no one is coming in, full stop. Nobody's going to spend $50 for a taxi to get to a couple lessons, just ain't worth it.
Started talking to a guy from a dating app today that I thought was hot. I then turned into his therapist when he got depressed about his ex. How is this my life?
I mean, maybe that will be a good bonding experience for your relationship. Kind of depends ok the exactly how that worked, what the tone was and timing.
He sounds like my ex. He literally did everything to his woman that my ex did to me, except the porn. This is the worst night of my life.
I wonder how much you'd make with a dating app that uses AI to produce a (fake) healthy dating pool. "Hello, Tamara. I was thinking about you today. You are so smart and funny and I have eyes only for you."
