Just tell her to fuck off .. okay may be not literally, but I wouldn't tolerate being shouted at … that said you can't control whether she shouts at you, you can control your reaction, so may be concentrate on not being scared of her... really what can she do ? its not like she's going to assault you Bear in mind that she's behaving like this because she's insecure and probably threatened by your competence/looks/whatever... so when she shouts at you its her problem not yours.
To be the bearer of strange and odd tidings type news: There are people who actually have a fetish for that sort of thing. Not one of mine, but they do exist. And this is still harder to watch than the BME Pain Olympics. (Can't post it due to the graphic nature and nudity in it, but you can look that one up with a simple google search if you want to see that kinda insanity.) Good luck, have fun and stay safe.
Decades ago, I was a paramedic in an almost warzone, so I'm pretty much desensitised to the gore. I've unfortunately had to clean up humankind's descent into depravity on more than a few occasions. I am absolutely not into fetishising gore.
I was not implying that at all. Just sharing some strange and useless info is all. I have heard my fair share of war-zone stories, cause my brother in-law is a medic in the Army, so I can understand where you're coming from. It takes a special kind of strange to enjoy those types of things in that fashion.
There are times I wish I could draw.. at lest sketch... got some cool imagery in my head but no way of putting it to paper. . Speaking of which, I need a cover for KoA.
Oh, insomnia... You're like an annoying online presence, trying to be noticed, seeking your moment of "iconoclasm" (as if such a thing can be found in digital form). I ignore you and ignore you and yet there you are.
Venting time! Just got a lot on my mind: • Morning routine thrown out of whack. • Hole exploding. • Nothing to do at the office so I’m bored as ****. • The only other person in the lab might be called over to help Panama City due to Michael (unlikely, though) so that’s worrisome, having the run the whole thing myself. • I think I’m drinking too much again. Sure, two beers and a glass of wine over the course of a week isn’t that big of a deal, but it kind of is to me. D:
I had to use Night Nurse to get a decent kip last night, my cold has overall been much more manageable but I have been drowsy as all hell. Didn't have much of a choice though, the damn bug kept me up the other night, I get sick when I haven't gotten enough sleep.
Today I have to go to an airport (ewww!), get on a plane (aargh!), and go to California (BLECHH!) There's a meeting regarding selling my partner's house tomorrow that will be a complete waste of time, I bet, At least it's a short trip. I'm coming back here late Saturday. I will be back home, comfortably esconced in my Washington squirrel nest (a drey, for those of you who aren't squirrels) on Sunday watching football.
Tried to go to sleep last night at 12.45am, only to be kept awake for the next 3 hours because my neighbours smoke alarm kept going off! How long does it take to remove a fucking battery?! I eventually crashed at 4.45am from utter exhaustion, and awoke to my phone's alarm at 8.45am. Within minutes of that...guess what I heard going off AGAIN!?!
Dang Microsoft... Their most recent Windows 10 update completely tanked the audio for tons of people, myself included. I literally spent hours trying to figure out what the heck was going on before I realized it wasn't just me. I'm currently downloading Dell's audio drivers to install instead of Microsoft's. This better work...
Alright it worked, but I guess Dell's audio drivers just aren't as good as Microsoft's because the audio quality isn't as good as it used to be Here's to hoping Microsoft rolls out an update to fix this soon.
I think I know what this means, but I don't think what I think it means means what you mean it to mean.
I'm normally okay on the insomnia front but with this damn wound if I roll in my sleep I wake in pain. I can only sleep in one position and I'm stiff and sore because of holding my body in that position all night. I hope the infection clears so they can stitch it closed next week. My writing productivity has tanked horribly due to this damn thing and the pills, which leave me in a dazed fog.
As @Wreybies might say, that font and font color against that background is giving me Forrest Whitaker eye....
