Well I would, but they seem to be going out of their way to drive a good 26 miles round trip
just to annoy me. Maybe I need to just blare some really adulterated music about sex. :p

There’s always the chance that when you tell them you want to sacrefice a virgin, they might think you mean one of them. That might keep them away.

I don't suppose there is any chance at all that you printed it off? I had a print copy rescue me once, when the file I was using got corrupted, which of course was corrupted across all the backups. Although human error (deleting the wrong thing) can easily happen as well.

Here's hoping you find it. Us writers know how bloody awful it is to lose work. No, you can't just 'write it again.' Not without a lot of grim determination, anyway. Good luck. And continue to Aaaargh! It helps.

Sending a copy of your work every day to your email is also a good backup method. At least any subsequent change you make to your MS doesn't affect what you sent earlier. And emails are dated, so you should be able to find your stuff fairly easily, if you have a notion of when things went wrong.

My bank seems to think I keep going overdrawn. On one occasion, by a 1000 euro! I checked my balance this morning, and it claimed I was overdrawn. Checking it again now, it claims I'm not. I can think of 2 possibilities. One, a dodgy system. Two, embezzlement. If it is the second, it wouldn't be the first time.

I guess I should keep screenshots each time I log in, so I can evidence any unusual changes in my account.

This, but with satanic symbols painted on you, and some fake blood on your hands. You could then mention about them being just in time for dinner...

Maybe I took that a bit too far? :p

Trains don't have steering wheels. Driver uses joystick to control the train.

Aww, come on, everyone knows the steering wheel on a train makes the track go where it has to. :D

That's enough to make me never want to use it.
I'm thankful to say I have never witnessed anything like that on the London Underground...to date.

Reminds me of advice I heard in high school. "If you don't know who the weird one of the group is, it's probably you... Especially if you think the London Underground is a good place for a date."

I have had a date on a restored train carriage turned into a cafe in London. That was pretty cool. :)

The catch is that one or more of these images may or may not feature a certain personage of troll like qualities.

I'm not shocked that most of the pictures come from NYC's transit system. Gotta love the riders on the MTA.....
