The Not Happy Thread

One day I hope Godzilla can just show up to netflix and chill.

 

I watched him on Amazon last night

 

Two inches of wet snow in mid-March and the bars are mostly closed. Guess I'll shelter in place.

 

This is Wisconsin. The state constitution provides an inalienable right to beer and cheese.

 

Okay, I'll be at the Village Bar, just off Mineral Point Road at Glenway, just before Speedway Road. And save room for the world-famous brick-cheese burger with fries.

 

Scratch that. Only takeout food now, and beer from the grocery or liquor store. This is getting serious. I'm thinking of suing someone.

 

Well shit-fuck. The pharmacy can’t refill my anxiety meds without doctor’s approval, and I can’t get it without making an appointment.

I’m gonna hope I can just do it over the phone because I’m not looking forward to entering a building likely swarming with sick people (corona or not) just so my doctor can say ‘yeah, sure’.

Been there. My doctor likes to write one month plus one refill when I'm not supposed to see him again for six months. Of course I don't notice at the time. Then he won't take calls from pharmacies and argues with me when I call, like I'm trying to get away with something.

 

You can come anyway. We got brats in the freezer and a grill out back.

 

Got anyplace cheaper than Mars with a good selection? I'll bring some cheese.

 

Maybe try the moon, then you'll save on the cheese.

 

Make sure it's real cheese, none of that processed food crap. Not sure what to make of the Mars comment -- the brats are from Sheboygan.

 

Mars Cheese Castle, just across the border from Illinois. Used to be a good cheese shop, then it got all tourist-trappy. Still some good stuff there but more than a tad overpriced IMO.

 

Never been there. We get most of our cheese from the dairy store at Babcock Hall on the UW Campus.

 

One of the clinics here screens people first, anyone displaying symptoms of Corona have to wait outside. Also, most of the time the Receptionist has a license to fill out scripts somehow, I don't know how but I've seen one fill them out for people that seemed like regulars.

 

I get mine at the MSU dairy store. Great cheeses at reasonable prices, and the best ice cream I've ever had.

So I’ll have to go see my doctor so he can approve me taking my anxiety meds Meds that I’ve been taking for years.

Mainly I worry that the hospital may have people infected with Corona and I don’t want to infect the Soils Lab with this.

Basically, I gotta go into a hospital so doctor can approve my meds. In the middle of a fucking pandemic
