Not a fan of Eddy Money, but definitely of Ronnie and her family group. Grew up listening to "Be My Baby", "Baby, I Love You", "Walking in the Rain".
Useless trivia: Martin Scorsese used Be My Baby for the opening to his film Mean Streets but without buying the rights. Phil Spectre was subsequently able to milk the director of royalty fees for years after the film’s release.

I Just heard about Louis Anderson. Louie Anderson, Emmy-winning comedian, dead at 68 (nypost.com) After Meatloaf I wonder who's next; they always seem to come in threes...
As Jeff Beck said (or whoever the singer was on the song) It gets us all in the end. Though he was talking about love.
Little-known fact about Meatloaf—he did lead vocals for several songs on Ted Nugent's Free For All album.
You completed your work MEAT - RIP. Hi s album; Bat Out of Hell - was one of the all time top charters and best sellers.
The nice thing about it—I'm hearing a lot more of his music now. The rock station near me plays Bat out of Hell (the song) and Paradise by the Dashboard Lights a lot, but right now they're playing 2 out of 3 ain't Bad.
Howard Alexander Dumble died sometime early this week. He was a builder of boutique guitar amps, remarkable not only for his high-profile clientele (Santana, John Mayer, Eric Clapton among others), but mostly for the fact that his amps sell for obscenely high amounts--I'm talking real estate money. Six figures. He had a really low output, like a couple amps per year, and he covered his preamp circuitry with epoxy to keep his secrets. He was kind of a legend. I can't imagine what this will do to the value of his amps. RIP Mr. Dumble, may the crystal lettuce grow thick over your grave.
"Thich Nhat Hanh is dead." No, no no no he's outside, looking in. (Moody Blues, Legend of a Mind—somewhat bastardized)
