Andre Braugher, whom I knew only as Captain Holt of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I don't pay much attention to celebrity news and usually deaths don't get to me all that much, but this one stings. I really loved him in the role he portrayed on that show, that's about all I can say.
Glad you mentioned this. For a moment or two I thought nobody here had noticed Shane MacGowans passing. I draw attention to Ronnie Drew's spoken word performance of, "The Dunes" (written by MacGowan) which is both chilling and beautiful. Worth a listen and a bit of research for anyone interested in writing. I would post a link but fear it would be removed.
