Peter Schickele, dead at 88. He was the ultimate parodist of Baroque music under the guise of PDQ Bach. He will be missed by classical music lovers everywhere. We are all blessed by the fact that he was born without a sense of shame.
Oh, I adored PDQ Bach. in the early eighties, I studied vocal music at the college for a year. My end of year recital included "Now is the Season" from "The Stoned Guest."

So Jewison gave Lee the project without an argument, admitting that his own experience as a White man would not have given him the proper perspective to complete the job.

"Getting to be?" I mean, you're not gonna find the most well-adjusted people in an industry like that. Of course there's a wide variety of types of people involved, as with anything, but in porn, prostitution, and the strip clubs, you're gonna find women with sex addictions (not all of them of course, but it will attract such people). 'People with addictions' overlaps considerably with the venn digram of people who have severe life problems and will likely end up self-delting or trying to. They also have a tendency to get themselves into some bad situations. Addictive people tend not to make great choices. Plus addictions tend to be comorbid with other addictions. A sex addiction will often exist side by side with addictions to alcohol, hard drugs and risk-taking or thrill-seeking. These aren't generally the most healthy people.
