No what Chad's saying is we jumped to morning again. I think the reason this happened was simply because there is very little for the characters to do at night except get eaten. Anyway ... we are moving on.

Ha...maybe. Right now Reva's a little concerned that you have a crazy murderer in your group. After all, there are lots of crazy murderers on the planet but not everyone has dead bodies outside their cave!

Um, It's not dark. It's probably early to mid morning. If anyone has it as getting dark they need to adjust their posts. LOL Nope, the jacket is MINE - Reva is currently wearing it.
I think we should wait for Ben and Allen to initiat their conversation since they got here first with me, and because you mentioned the group talking happily, Ben's still in the woods now, he was waiting for Allen to post before they moved in to talk. Or being DM you could say that they are talking which would be good for me because it'd really just be a Hi Long time no see.
I'm sorry, after I posted I realized that I was controlling your characters a bit by saying that, however, I left it that way to get some of the pleasantries out of the way like you mentioned. Edit: Nevermind...I'll just change it. If Ben was waiting for Allen to post he must have something in mind. *Goes to shove Derek and Reva back into the woods*
I was scanning back through some of the discussion that happened while I was gone and saw this idea repeated a few times. I just wanted to comment about it briefly. It is true on the surface of it. If you have a group of people who all go to sleep there really isn't much that goes on to write about. Just don't overlook the characters who can't sleep, the character who may be sneaking around plotting something or trying to steal from others, the watchman who is seeing something really odd...night is a ripe time to move the plot for your character forward sometimes. Don't think about your bed at home but try to really put yourself in your character's shoes. They're sleeping with a bunch of other people in a strange place on stone, sand, twigs and grass, and/or furs. They're probably working physically harder than they have done before and are often frightened (remember how this place seems out to get them?). Speaking of furs...there has not been time for any of these hides to fully cure. My brother experimented with tanning hides (with alum...not using the entrails the indian way that Pasha is doing) and they take a day or two to dry. They also tend to turn out pretty stiff when simply dried instead of really cured. I won't foist too much realism on you guys...just figured I would bring it up in case it helps. ~F.
Hey guys. I'm back after my long absence of yesterday evening. I'm not sure I'm up to speed on what's going on. Ben and Allen just ran into Chad and Chrys right? Is anybody else there, or has anything happened since then?
From what I know Ben and Allen are still in the woods (Chick was waiting for you to post) and you're going to meet up with Chad and Chrys. Reva has gone pretty far afield in her foraging, found the dead bodies that Chad & Co. left out to attract scavengers and to stink and ended up running into Derek. The two of them are headed over to meet up with Chad, Chrys, Ben, & Allen but we're not posting till you guys actually meet up, I think. At least......I think that's how it is! I'm still trying to get myself straightened around after my own absence.
Woops, should've read this before posting. I actually just pulled us out of the woods and towards our cave, woven door and all. I figure it works though, they could all just come running out to say hello while we're walking by with a deer carcass.
