That post was supposed to come directly after the post where Derek leaves the tribe for the stream. Post 1750 was its intended location.
GM Announcement: A Big Ending Phase 2 *** GM ANNOUNCEMENT *** You may have noticed that we have just recently lost Owen, Britney, and Ben in a very short time to The Beast. This was Phase 1 of our upcoming ending. Now time for Phase 2: Tribes begin working together to plan the hunt of the beast. The actual hunt is Phase 3 so don't go haring off to do it yet. For now, concentrate on having your characters realize the danger and begin to mix, finding the other tribes, discussing what they know of the enemy. There are several people who have first-hand knowledge of the thing. This is a story in itself. Please don't have your character simply walk up to someone from another tribe and say, "So this beast is bad and kills people. How about we hunt it?" Remember, you have to move your characters over terrain. You have to deal with obstacles. You're still developing your mutations. People still have issues with each other. Tribes will most likely not trust each other initially (remember what happened to the trashed cave?) so there are things to overcome just in the gathering and planning stage. Let's shoot for having this phase last for what remains of this week. I MAY be gone for four days starting Friday so we would have to pause and pick up on Tuesday (unless I don't go) with Phase 3 if we are ready by then. Does that make sense?

If he doesn't reply by the time I'm back I'll just control him and move on. Back in 10-20 mins YES. Just write a post saying that you talked to everyone. That's sufficient.
Derek will probably return to the camp soon. He'll most likely avoid Chad and I doubt he'll be observant enough to look up into a tree for Kat.
