As Fox and Raylene walk away, Fox thinks to herself, "I should probably kill him now. Just to make sure he won't be a problem later on. If I attack him, then Viva will probably interfere though. There is just something off about that girl." Britney runs in the direction that Reva took off in as fast as she could. She nearly trips over the fallen trees and rocks. She thinks to herself "I hope I find her before anything bad can happen to her."
Viva eyed Pasha, rather stunned. He...he loved her? She stared down at her feet with tears in her eyes. She felt so guilty for have been an actor all along. And now, even if she wanted, she couldn't spit it out. He wouldn't see it her way. Well, even her way, she wasn't justified. She wiped off the tears without showing them, and tried to smile genuinely. It worked. "Thanks." She stopped him from walking away and then brushed his hair, saying: "You're no less than a prince." She then pulled him forward and kissed him. When she let go, she was blushing. She giggled and turned away from him, feeling a little naughty and giddy at the same time.
Pasha’s eyes went wide and his heart seemed to give a skip. He fell to the ground, ignoring the pain in his rear. His hands reached to his tingling lips as he looked up at Viva. He couldn’t help but let out a giggle. “She kissed me.” He thought. His hands still touching his lips, as his body tried to react to such a new, and magnificent feeling. His heart seemed to pound, but he couldn’t feel much of anything anymore. It was as if he wasn’t in his own body. “Lover boy!” cooed Yuri. “Sh-she kissed me, Yuri.” He thought. “Yes… she did, But you really—“ Yuri started. “Yuri… she kissed me!” he seemed to yell into his own mind as he thrust himself from the ground. His body seemed to return to him as he looked over at Viva. He quickly thrust the belonging, hanging them over his shoulder. He ignored the pain from his wounds, stood next to her. His heart seemed to fill with something he couldn’t understand, and his steps were giddy and full of skip. He grabbed her hand, gently placing it in his own. His thumb was on her thumb as they started forward. He wanted to be around her, yet her tendencies seemed to clash with his own. She was hyper and excessive. He was quiet and instinctive. He just didn’t understand. “I’m confused Yuri… what is this feeling?” “Love.”
Viva raised an eyebrow as he grabbed her hand. "Okay, now he's just being frank. A kiss does not mean a date." A voice in her head mocked. "For goodness's sake! He's a stupid, cut-off schizophrenic. He doesn't know society." Another set of voices bellowed. "Told you not to kiss him. Now he's being all mushy." Viva sighed, and shut down her head. She had had enough murderous instincts for the day. Hell, the guy was awfully cute. Like a little boy having a crush on his teacher. She felt respected and cared for, and she didn't want to hurt Pasha in anyway. She smiled towards Pasha, and then blushed. "Hey, I'm a secret agent who got herself arrested and managed to keep a smile as she stepped on a planet with no chance of return, and she's blushing?! I'm out of it!!!" I screamed in my head, and then giggled. Love is never sane - no wonder the first term of her contract read, "No emotional affiliations for the rest of your life." She felt fear all over again. What if they came for Pasha? What would she do? She looked away and tried to amuse herself by looking at the greenery around her. She then thought of joining the girls. Not a bad idea. Provided her boy-fri - friend agreed. "Hey... She started, trying hard to look at him. "You wanna join the girls' squad? Not that we have to...but..."
Pasha’s mind still seemed to be blurry as he looked down at Viva. He gave her a smile, his eyes gleaming for the first time in over 15 years. “Yeah, we certainly can do that. I don’t mind.” He muttered. He quickened his pace, realizing they needed to run to catch up with the girls. He took their belongings from his shoulder, gently dropping them into her arms. He picked her up with ease, holding her bridal style. She held onto his bludgeon stick with her free hand, and looked up at him. He blushed deeply, unable to help the smile on his face. “Hope you don’t mind.” He muttered, looking away, “We need to catch up.” He ran with her after Fox, yelling for them to wait up.
Viva screamed in delight and somewhat surprise as Pasha picked her up. "You are so luring him into your trap, you minx. Thinking of romance stranded on a planet with predators and weird stuff of all kinds?!" "Oh my gosh! Do you like, realize, you may have to marry a schizophrenic?!" "Oh, the kids may be bonkers too. And hey - you'll need to learn German, cause this guy's too shy to translate each time!" Viva rolled her eyes. Her brain was full of funny and sarcastic comments, but she simple grinned proudly as he ran with her. "Shut up." She though to herself, enjoying the moment. You don't get picked up in the arms of a crazy murderer on a foreign planet everyday, you know.
When Reva attacked the creature it caught Allen completely off guard. Surely she knew that she could get away when it fell. Why? Did she not see him? While she struggled with the creature Allen moved forward, dropping his sling and pulling out the pointed file. Reva rolled away from it and picked up a branch, that's when she looked back and saw him. He paid her no mind because it was about to escape from under the tree she had dropped on top of it. Rushing forward Allen moved straight for the head and thrust the file into it's eye, killing it instantly. He turned towards Reva, holding the file ready.
Reva stood in a half-crouch, branch raised and breathing hard as Allen turned from the thrashing dying beast. Suddenly she wondered if this is how Fox had seen him, cold-eyed, spattered with blood, and holding a weapon. She dared look at the dying beast once more to make sure it didn't get up and flicked her glance back to Allen, not trusting him. He wanted to kill her. She swallowed. This was not one of Reva's better days. "So, how's the arm?" she asked, her eyes not leaving his.
Smith walked aimlessly in the forest, unsure whether he had gotten turned around or was on track. For all he knew he was about to walk off a cliff. His hunger killing him. He sat down grumpily. Joey climbed nimbly down and then hopped off by itself to a near by bush. He jumped up and down looking at Smith chirping. Smith then realized he was standing under neith a berry that was just to high forit to reach. Smith crawled over, and plucked the berry and handed it to Joey. He held it with his front paws and quickly began to eat it. Smith looked at the bush, it seemed that all of the lower berries had been picked clean but the top of the bush was full. "I hope this is as good as you seem to think it is." He told Joey who stopped eating to chirp happily at him. The bush looked normal, but the berries looked like blue berries but had the skin of a strawberry with the seeds on the outside. He plucked one and popped it into his mouth. "Wow." He said softly as he chewed the berry. "This tastes amazing." It tasted like strawberries dipped in dark chocolate. A little dull sweet bitterness at first taste and once you bite into it sweet, sweet strawberries. "Joey I think we can call it even now, I saved you from the wesseal and you found me some food." He quickly picked the bush clean and was stuffed full. He was a bit disapointed when that he hadn't saved any untill he stood up and realized that they where vary much like strayberries and grew in groups. He could see ten bushes from where he was and began to harvest and store most of the berries in his imporvised sack.
Raylene glances behind her at the sound of giggling. She jabs Fox in the ribs and nods her head at the love birds. "Are you seeing this? Psycho 1 and Psycho 2 are gettin all friendly. Let's just hope they don't breed!"
Fox looks back at Raylene, and says "Lets just hope you don't start hearing their thoughts. That would be enough to make someone go insane." Fox's vision begins to blurr and she falls to her hands and knees. "Damn, the bloodloss and lack of water is starting to get to me, I guess." thinks Fox. The memory of her mother's death comes back to her. "I need to stand. I'm strong, not weak. My weakness is why mom died, I'll never be weak again. I must remain strong." thinks Fox as she stands back up. As Britney continues to run in Reva's direction, she begans to feel a horrible stabbing pain in her thigh. "Damnit leg, stop hurting right now, I'm not slowing down. Fox asked me to be fast, so I'm going to keep going as fast as I can, no matter what." thinks Britney.
"My arm is doing very well. Thank you for setting it." Allen started walking slowly towards Reva, stepping over the green carcass. "You don't trust me do you? Is it because of what Xare told you? She's not all that trustworthy herself you know."
Raylene goes to Fox to help her stand. She knows that the amount of blood she lost is definately taking its toll on her. Fox stands and shrugs her off. She has to be strong in front of the psycho twins. She turns and starts walking backwards and addresses Pasha and Viva. "Are we going to have to search for our own dinner tonight or are you willing to share? We have medical supplies and a few changes of clothing. I'd be willing to patch up your back if you give us some food."
Smith smiled as he walked with Joey standing happily on his shoulder munching on a Chocostrawberry Smith had handed to him. Smith reached up and rubbed Joey's head affectionatly. "You're going to get fat if you keep standing up there eating all day." He warned and received a happy chirp in reply. "Fine keep munching down but don't say I didn't warn you." He teased having no one else to talk to. He wondered where the others had gotten off to. He patted Joey again as he wondered if he was going to get lost on this planet by himself. He scowled down at his hands and itched the top of one with the other, his whole body felt itchy and annoyed, he hoped he hadn't caught some alein desease, his skin all seemed thicker, like a farmers hands, or the bottoms of someones feet.
Derek continued walking along with the group when suddenly, his stomach growled loudly. He patted it with his right hand and looked down at it. While doing so, he asked "Hey Doc. If we eat the Banshee, what're the odds that your poison kills us too?"
Chrys walked over to the figure that had just communicated to her. It was now unmoving. She gave it a questioning shreik, but it didn't respond. "Are you dead?" Why was it dead? Chrys patted its head, leaning over it, placing her head on its, sobbing silently. i'm sick of death...Dammit, I'm freaking sick of death...If Dad hadn't gone around killing, I'd still be with my mom...I hate Death. i wish I could dismember the Grim Reaper...I'm sick of death... She continued to cry onto the now dead creature.
Pasha looked that the young lady as he set Viva down. He let her sit beneath the tree, as he thought hard on his answer. He knew, if she hadn’t suggested it, he wouldn’t be here. He also knew, he didn’t like fox. In fact, he didn’t like any of these girls and they would probably only bring him trouble. “It’s safest in numbers.” Yuri muttered. Pasha sighed, taking their things from Viva’s hands. He gave her a gentle smile, as he slung them over his shoulder. “All right, but I’m more worried about my stab wound.” He pointed to his aching shoulder, “You take care of that and dinner is on me. I think, if we can work together well, all will be fine. It’s better in numbers, after all.” Pasha sat down next to Viva his hand on hers.
Juan clicked his tongue. "When we sent the recruits into the jungle to survive they all were taught how to tell if berries were poison. Any body feel like testing if the meat is safe to eat before we all stuff out guts?" HArold shook his head. "Tell ya what Juan, next time we get attacked by a strawberry we'll go with your plan. Until then I'm thinking it's BBQ time."
Chrys hissed, "No!" Waving her hand, clutching the creature tight to her, but Mobby pulled it from her. Can't watch..Can't Watch! Chrys's legs carried her to a nearby tree, her hands imitating claws, carried her up the tree, and her new found sense of balance planted her onto a branch, where she promptly closed her eyes...and looked at the horizon, but not down...couldn't trust down...
Derek looked down and saw Chrys leave the corpse of the animal that had tried to kill him until she had somehow communicated with it, which in turn led them to shelter. Usually, he would have made a sarcastic joke that would have gotten him into some kind of argument. Instead, he held back for a second, thinking about what he was about to say. All of them were in a group, and none of them really got along with Chrys. If the group was to work, however, they would need to learn to all get along. He decided to attempt to bridge the gap between the group, maybe act as a mediator to help protect Chrys a bit. Besides, he felt a little bad for the poor girl. She was even younger than him, and she was trapped on a strange planet with a bunch of criminal men; God knows what such men are capable of. He walked over to the tree she was laying in, climbed up on the branch next to her, and patted her on the back. "It's alright," he said. "He helped us find shelter, he helped keep us alive. And I believe it was you that made him do that." He choked down a knot in his throat and said something he hadn't said sincerely in years. "Thank you."
Harold looked at the dead banshee. "How the hell are we going to carve this up?" "Go ahead you beached whale," said Juan, "choke teh beast down. But if you want to see those pants have to be let out again, why don't you rub your fingers inside the thing's mouth? Come on big man, just humor me." The mobster pulled the thing's mouth apart and ran a finger over the top of it's gum. His finger blistered immeidately. "Son of blind, one legged, hair lipped, cafeteria worker! That hurts like hell!" Juan smiled. "Go ahead Mobby, eat a bunch." HArold's stomach stopped growling.
Fox continues to walk forward, towards the tree. Her vision gets worse and she can barely stay standing up. "Should i ask for help? No I won't ask for their help. I'm strong. Only weak people need help from strangers." thinks Fox. Her body has been pushed to it's limit. Due to vomiting last night and not having anything to drink since arriving on this world, her body was badly dehydrated. The large amount of blood that she lost made things worse. At this point she can't even tell what direction she is going. She falls to her knees and looks at the blurry tree in the distance. She suddenly sees Lonan standing under the tree, waving at her. "Fox I've come for you. Hurry up and get over here, so we can go back to earth." says Lonan. Fox reaches her hand towards to tree and says "Lo.....nan.....I'm.....com....ing. I'm....not...weak, I.....won't....let....you....down." She falls forward. "Lo...nan." whispers Fox as she passes out.
Raylene put her things down under a tree and retrieved the first aid kit. She walked over to Pasha and asked him to sit down. She opened the kit and pulled out a syringe and a vial of pain medication. Pasha removes his shirt and sits with his back towards Raylene. She fills the syringe. After a moments hesitation, thinking about what a psychoitic murder will do when she pokes him with the needle, injects it into the stab wound. She flinches as it sinks into the meat of his shoulder, waiting for him to snap. She opens one eye, then the other, realizing he didn't flinch at all. Raylene takes out a suture tray out of the first aid kit and begins to sew the flesh together. She was thankful her mother taught her to sew as a little girl. It takes 16 stitches to close it and she dresses it with gauze and tape. "Good as new." She says to the psycho and puts her things away.
Chrys truned to look at Derek, "How old are you anyway? Bet you can't guess my age?" Just then, Mobby started cussing out the corpse of the creature, "Would you mind telling me what's going on? I refuse to look down untill it's gone, I can't bear to look at it."
Raylene looks up from her bag and sees Fox fall forward. "Lo.....nan.....I'm.....com....ing. I'm....not...weak, I.....won't....let....you....down." Fox calls out. Raylene rushes to her side as she loses conciousness. She looks around, frantic and wild eyed. "YOU!" She hollers at Viva. "Please go get more water. She needs fluids." Raylene grabs her bundle of clothing and places it under Fox's head.
