Yep. Asked by a girl I'd been seeing for less than a week. I did what any rational male would do in that situation- run for the hills
Prove your love? How would u do that? If you love someone, I'm thinking they should know it by how your treat them and what u say. I would take Pludovick's advice on that one.
Ah, Candi, Candi, Candi... so young, so naive. Far too many loves you "until someone better comes along", or only stay with you because they want something. Faking love is too easy. I'm not saying it's a good thing, of course, only that you should be aware of it. Not everyone is as honest as they claim to be. Back on topic, yes, I have been asked to prove my love. So I put a ring on her finger. Didn't actually marry her, but I would have if we hadn't broken up later.
I would prize open my chest and offer him my heart on a plate if he wanted me to. But he doesn't, and never will. Oh well, I am still happy
Proof? You want proof? The proof is in my day to day interactions with you, or it is not. Anything I can contrive as proof, would be just that - a contrivance. Judge me by who I am with you.
I've always felt that sitting in a tree across the street with binoculars proves true love as well as anything else.
Technically, running someone over with your car or pushing them down the stairs is "interacting". Just saying.
That's what I did with Joel. It seemed to work. That's kind of his point, isn't it? If he spent all his time with his lady running her over with cars and pushing her down the stairs, it would be pretty clear that he didn't love her. On the other hand, if he did nice things to/for her...
Not sure how I would respond to being asked to prove my love :S Guess for some people it's not enough if you say and express your love for them.
