So according to Leafs coach Ron Wilson Reimer does not have a concussion, and should be back soon  Montreal can't even cheapshot right :p The utterly unscrupulous and detestable Gionta should still be suspended.

And now my only disappointment with tonight is that Gustavsson was so bad he let Montreal make it to overtime and steal a loser point.

First time Manchester United have conceded six at home since 10th September 1930 - when none other than Huddersfield Town hammered the Red Devils 6-0. Kelly and Jackson scored hat-tricks that day, as Manchester United slumped towards relegation. And Town went on to finish fifth in the top flight. It was Scotland great Alec Jackson's final appearance for the club before joining Chelsea.

RIP, Marco Simoncelli. Next year was looking so good. Feel so sad right now, but Moto GP, it happens.

^ Just read about that. I'm not a Moto GP fan but it's really sad news.

I just don't understand what Hue Jackson is thinking. He gives up potentially two first round picks to bring in Palmer... just to start the absolute worst quarterback in professional football Kyle Boller. Who is losing this game completely through his own lack of ability. Why concede a game against a division rival?

We were properly slaughtered tonight. At our own home.

Theatre of Dreams was a slaughterhouse for United. Jesus Christ on a freaking stick -- Ballotelli, Silva, Dzeko and Kun. As much as I despise City and most of their players, they played beautiful football against us. United was weak, slow and pretty freaking terrible. Rio Ferdinand apparently can't do squat if Vidic isn't there to herd him? I don't even know. And freaking Evans, I don't even know where to start with him. Git.

As you might expect, I'm properly devastated about this. I mean, I go to bed at 3:30am and wake up at 6:20am for that? Are you for real? Shame on you, United. Shame. But more shame on the "fans" that left the stadium before the match even ended. They were real pricks and I'd have all their season tickets cancelled and their rights revoked. Douchebags.

The only real bright side in this is that Mancini did not include Owen Hargreaves in his line-up and that made me very happy. I would have absolutely died if he had scored against us too. He can't. I forbid it. :( even though I am perversely into that idea

Even so, season ends in May, not October. So watch out, Premier League -- this isn't over yet.

I am looking at you, Piers Morgan.

New Zealand won the Rugby World Cup last night 8-7 vs France.

    Great game :)

I was enjoying it until Game 6 was rained out. Now, thanks to the Rangers' inability to hold two run leads, Fringe has been preempted

Well, atleast the Rangers are keeping thier core team. Unlike the Phillies and possibly the Red Sox. The only person they might loose is CJ Wilson, and i highly doubt he'll leave. It all depends. They just need better pitching. I think the Rangers can pull it off again. Then yet Game 7 was tottally unfair and the Rangers got screwed by the umpires. Oh well, :(

I hate the Cardinals. Good Lord, this upcoming season might be horrible.

And the Packers have a bye. No sports for me this weekend.

I'm having withdrawal from all the football I did not watch this week. I watched the world series -- not impressed. Texas should've won and my father was very disgruntled about their loss a couple of days behind.

How will next season be horrible? Were keeping everybody expect CJ Wilson because he will be a Free Agent and i know he will stay. We still got our core team. We can do it. Look at it this way, atleast were not like the Phillies right now were they are going to lose half of thier team in Free Agency alone...

For the Brewers, my team, it will be. Having to face the braggart Cardinals and their godawful manager so many times a year, losing Prince....

Well, at least La Russa won't be there anymore. As for Prince Fielder, I still have a terrible feeling the Sox will throw a ridiculous offer at him and he'll become Crawford 2.0.

Good job Seattle. I definately thought this was the sounders year for lifting that MLS trophy, but I guess that'll have to wait until next year. I'm sad that it's over now but there's really nothing to fault about tonights performance, it was amazing and makes me proud to be a Sounders fan. If it had to be the last game of the season at least it was one hell of game. I can't wait till next year and the CONCACAF quarter finals.

Also thank you to Kasey Keller for three amazing years in Seattle plus the 17 before that, you're amazing.

    Sounders till I die!!

Fire Hue Jackson, especially if Bresnahan is still defensive coordinator tomorrow. The worst part is going to be hearing about how that fundamentally untalented Tebow won this game, when he had precious little to do with it.

I hope the fans catch the ref on the way to his car after the game so that they can get a coherent explanation out of him as to why an action committed by the Raiders is a penalty, but the same thing done by their opponents does not.

I'm sick of this bullshit. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm just about done with the NFL.
