. The Game was Created By Bick The small town of Wenig, Missouri, is located in the boonies of Missouri. Surrounded on three of its four sides by a large wooded area. On the far South side there is a lightly wooded field, that leads to the only water source of the Town, the Wenig creek. Though, in there is also the water tower. The creek is about 4 feet wide. Is known for flooding. There is only one road that leads from the town, it takes you directly from the Sheriff’s office, through out of town. The street leads to the closest town of Montgomery about 150 miles from Wenig. The town itself is rather small, as said before. There’s no more then 80 citizens in the city, with a small growth rate of one to two people per a few years. There is one diner, a sheriff’s office, a fire department(also home to the fire chief), a gas station that is connected with the mechanic shop, a dairy, a supply store, a schoolhouse, a church and the homes of the citizens. The dairy takes up a good portion of the towns land, but also contributes to most of the economic stability. The people of Wenig know everyone. Friends or even enemies since birth. No one moves away from Wenig, you are born there and you die there. A normally peaceful place to live. That’s about to change for the homely people of Wenig with the new mystery that will soon arrive. It’s your job to solve it with the clues the Gamemaster gives you. ----------------------- Point of the Game: With the clues given to you, and the clues played out by the other players you are to solve the mystery while also answering a few questions on the way. There are also the few missions that some characters will be given that can end in clues or new situations. Time: Takes place in the early 1980’s. The time is Summer. School is out folks, and the Summer is hot, and boiling. The creek is looking good right about now isn’t it? Characters: Some characters will be let in on the plot. They will be part of the plot, might get to know some of the plot but not all. They will help lay the plot out, while not telling the others what I tell them. Don’t want to ruin the fun of a Mystery. When making your characters, remember this is a small town. I wouldn’t expect any incredibly rich people or rock’n’roll stars. Try and be realistic and have fun. Clues: Once the mystery is put out all members will be given clues that they must play out. If a clue from another member is played out, try not to let your own clue out too close to theirs. This will help lessen the confusion. You are not to tell others your clues, nor the clues you find out. They are yours alone to find/figure out. Most of them should be obvious, while others may not, it’ll just take some thought. To play out a clue, you’ll follow the directions of that clue. (Some might be really simple, and won’t take too much trouble.) Solving the Mystery: Once you think you can answer all questions(You will notice them in bold at the end of my posts in bold.) and know who did what, why, and how then you may PM the me. If you get it right, then I will tell you so, and you will be able to make the post. When you have solved the Mystery, you’re to go to the Sheriff and tell him what you’ve found out. Be as creative as you want. If you are wrong, there are no repercussions, but I will not tell you what you got wrong so you have a chance to try again. Buildings: Sheriff’s office;; Three general sections. Once you walk in the door, you reach the first section. Desks for the Sheriff, Deputy and a small desk for the Secretary. One cemented room to the side where there are two jail cells. Four beds. Other room is for evidence and files, connected to the front room. It’s located at the end of the main street, for easy access. Diner;; Alcohol only served at night and only at the bar portion of it. Bar surrounds the area where the cooks works. Around it are booths and tables. About 5-6 tables. Open 5am to 10pm. Fire Department;; Actually a small home. One floor. Two car garage, where ladders and tools needed for the job are kept. Pressurized water tank located on the back of Earl’s truck, in case of fire with hoses attacked. Though there hasn’t been a fire for over a decade. Gas station and Mechanic Shop;; Connected to one another. One gas nozzle. Unleaded gas only in front of Mechanic shop. All cash is dealt with in there. Room for four cars, though one side is where all tools are kept. The Dairy;; Two large buildings, and an outdoor field for the cows. One building is for the housed cows to live, with the bulls separated from the hundreds of heifers. The second building for processing of the milk. Large portion of land. Located near the far South side, just a mile from the creek. Supply Store;; Located just across the way of the owner’s home. Two rooms. The main room where the counter and various items are kept refrigerated, and shelved for viewing. Room in back where other items and stock are kept in the back. Shop owners go out of town every other week to get supplies ordered by the towns people, as well as restocking for everyday items. A day long trip. Schoolhouse;; Small building the size of a small home. Three classrooms. First for grade 1 through 6. Second room for Grade 7 through 9. Third room for grade 9 through 12. No indoor plumbing or cooling. Outhouse in the back. One teacher, as there aren’t many children. The Church;; Not sure of which religion just yet, but I’d think Protestant or Catholic. If we get a leader of the church, as one of the characters, we will decide from there. Church is a big part of small time county life Small building, like a normal church. Etc. This you can imagine yourself. (one) Those are just a few. Use your imagination. You can make moonshine in your cellar for all I care You can even be unemployed and live with your family. I may have to ask you to change jobs if it collides with the plot, but more then likely that won’t happen, so don’t worry about that. The Fireman/Sheriff/Mechanic are non-playable characters. ((More non-playable characters might popup.)) The plot will be coming out a week after I post this. I’d like it if you got a first post done for your character and missions might be given before the actual plot is let out. Rules: I hope you know the normal RPG rules, I won’t be posting those. Correct way: Her eye caught a glimpse of the sheriff’s badge as the light shone off it. She ran across the street, waving at him. He tilted his hat with a friendly hello. She stopped short of the sidewalk. “How are you doing this fine morning, Sheriff?” It could also help if you talked dialogue through with the other character on your profile messages or through PM. 2: Don’t let out clues on top of one another. 3: You must absolutely not talk about your clues or your theory on the solving of the Mystery. 4: Duel characters are only allowed if separate posts are made for them both. Meaning from two points of view. Otherwise they are considered sub-characters, and will be needed to put in a sub-character profile. You are allowed family, children, friends and pets. They must just be characters your character will interact with, without you playing them. Like non-playable characters. If you have any questions, PM me. Name: Shaniz Aelbaar Demeneas Nickname: Shan Age: 24 Appearance: Brown eyes, blond and rust hair color. She has a tan complexion but a very appealing look. 5'6" tall and weighs 130 pounds. General Attire: Wears a cowgirl suit, with a little alteration in the shirt style which is usually embroidered (courtesy of her best friend). Personality: A very vain, but sharp young girl who is very curious about the town's happenings. She is very hot tempered, but never shows any weakness whatsoever. She wants to be a topnotch sheriff someday but that day is far. Family: A twin brother Panyos, her mother Denenz and father Aelbaar. Job: Waitress at diner Brief History: She has been brought up in a goody goody, sophisticated manner by her parents who live alone in this town with no other relatives other than her mysterious cousin Ryso. She was always an inquisitive person therefore, despite her mother's wants to have her sent to the church and her father's wishes of making her a seamstress, she has temporarily stuck to the diner until she can get enoguh money for college.
Character Profile: The out-of-town Detective Name: Kevin Douglas Maverick Nickname: Kev Age:26 Appearance: Kev has sky blue eyes with short brown hair. He has a lean muscular body which he takes alot of pride in. General Attire: As a detective Kev wears his badge on a pair of faded jeans, with a crinkled white pin striped shirt under an old worn leather jacket. Personality: Kev is an upbeat guy whose constant questioning of things around him fueled his desire to be a detective. He sees himself as an optimist. He is consistently at war with the impulse to solve his fiance's murder. Family: All family deceased with fiance murdered 5 months ago. Job: Detective for Montgomery PD Brief History: Kevin had a decent upbringing in Montgomery which was cut short by an accident which happened when he was 8 where his whole family, mother, father and little brother were killed in a road accident. Kevin became an orphan and was adopted by the Mavericks who raised him for 10 years until he had a fall out with his foster father and left to join the police. He moved up the ranks quickly and but became a mediocre detective.

Tanned skin, and deep grey eyes that sometimes change color to a slight blue. General Attire: Black t-shirts, jeans, a belt and cowboy boots. Personality: Is rather straight-forward. Can be a bit of a prick. Has his good side of course, but the reporter in him comes out much too often. Family: Father: Rocko P. Phillips Sr. Mother: Mary Phillips Sister: Andrea Phillips Sister: May Phillips Job: Works at Dairy and Newspaper Writer/Editor Brief History: Born and Raised in Wenig. Father for a while made moonshine in his basement, until caught by the Sheriff. Mother works at the diner as a waitress. Always wanted to be a great writer since he was a child. Hopes to one day leave Wenig to become a “big-time writer”. Sub-Character Profile Name: Dana Relation: Companion/Friend Description: full grown white whippet. Tail cut off mid-way, scar on the top of his head from a fight with a coyote. Brief History: About ten years old, best friend and playmate to Rocky. Name: Rocko P. Phillips Sr. Relation: Father Description: Over-weight, normally unshaven. Has a slight beard and mustache. Shirt, messy brown hair. Brief History: Married his wife young. Isn’t a very good man. Is verbally abusive to his family, and quite lazy. Hasn’t had a job in years. Name: Mary Phillips Relation: Mother Description: Aged from years of working. Looks older then she is. In her mid-forties. She has beautiful long brown hair that is usually put in a ponytail. Brief History: Married young, has been a waitress since she got out of Highschool. She works long hours, going in during the morning and coming back at closing. Name: Andrea Phillips Relation: Sister Description: Grey eyes, Long light brown hair. Very sweet and loves to play. 10 years old. Brief History: Was born first, a few minutes before her twin sister was. Loves her teachers, and loves to learn. She is known for being a good student. Her mother hopes for a better future for her. Name: May Phillips Relation: Sister Description: Grey eyes, light brown hair. Very sweet, but shy. Loves to play, but on a normal basis will only play with her sister. 10 years old. Brief History: Born second out of the twins. She is a fair student, but tends to be quiet and doesn’t ask questions when she needs help, which is holding her back. She is very fond of her sister.
Name: Christopher Jay Kipper Nickname: Kip Age: 22 Appearance: 5' 5" with chin-length, reddish-blonde hair, pale skin, and brown eyes. He's really scrawny and looks a lot younger than he really is. General Attire: jeans, T-shirt, and ratty, steel-toes workboots. Personality: Kip's really spacey and kinda slow sometimes. He has a tendancy to mess stuff up and not really give a crap. He tries to be friendly, though, and is easy to take advantage of. Family: John Kipper (father-52), Helen Kipper (mother-47), Andrew Kipper(brother-18) Job: Dairy Worker Brief History: Kip's not very bright and he knows it. When he graduated, he didn't bother applying for college like his younger brother. He lives alone in a crappy little house just up the street from the school, and owns an old pick-up truck that he never uses. There's nothing too interesting about him.
Sheriff Profile Name: David Michael McRyan Nickname: Dave Age: 45 Appearance: About 6 feet tall, dark brown hair that reaches just below his ears. Shaggy hairstyle. Not exactly overweight, not exactly thin. Tanned, leather-like skin from the years of over-exposure from the sun. General Attire: Tan police shirt, badge, dark brown pants. Black belt, handgun at hip, normally. When at home, usually jeans and a T-shirt. Personality: Very friendly, but when it comes to law-breaking, he will show why he was given his job. Has a bad habit of smoking, but won’t do it inside a building. Family: Wife; Leanne McRyan Daughter; Skye McRyan. Mother and Father; Mark and Joan McRyan are deceased. Job: Town Sheriff Brief History: Was born and raised in Wenig. Mother and father both worked at the Dairy, while he as a teenager and young man was taught under the Sheriff before him. A great hunter and fisherman. As a teen worked at the Mechanic shop, and helped out on shifts for the gas station. Sub-Character Profile Name: Leanne McRyan Relation: Wife Description: Plump, and very pale skinned woman in her early 40’s. A housewife and a good friend to all. Tends to be invasive in other peoples problems, as she is a problem solver and likes to help out. Brief History: Married Dave at the young age of 16, and she never turned back. Was a housewife most of her life, but spent a year at the Dairy when money was low for their family. Has a grown daughter that moved away to Montgomery years ago. She rarely sees Skye anymore.
Name: Lonny Darrel Hudson Nickname: Lonny Age: 16 Appearance: shoulder-length, light brown hair dyed electric blue and brown eyes. He's 5' 4", with an average build, olive skin, and crooked teeth. General Attire: jeans, T-shirt, and thick, black sunglasses. Personality: Lonny's actually kind of an arse. He says what he wants, does what he wants, and has a tendancy to lie and mooch off of people. He acts cool, but he's really kind of a spaz. He's that one friend nobody likes. Family: Darrel Hudson (father-43), Angelina Hudson (mother-49), Jennifer Hudson (sister-12), Sarah Hudson (sister-10) Job: student Brief History: like a lotta people in town, Lonny's life hasn't been what you'd call exciting. There's never been any major problems at home or school or anything - it's pretty boring, actually.
Name: Panyos Demeneas Relation: Brother Description: He's a witty and irritating twin who loves to tag along by his sister's side. He's not much use, except that he's very wise (sometimes) and can be a great friend, if one can tolerate him long enough. Brief History: He has been brought up just like Shaniz, and despite their differences they've always been a perfect team.
Mechanic's Profile Name: William Harrison Butler Nickname: Harry Age: 44 Appearance: Harry has dirty blond hair that always seems to be in need of a hair cut. His eyes are a deep green and he tends to smile with his lips tightly shut owing to his utter fear of the dentist. General Attire: Most of Harry's clothes are very clean, neatly pressed but obviously well worn. Personality: Harry is generally a friendly guy who will go out of his way to help others and make new friends. Family: Harry is an only child. His mother accidentally drowned four years ago. Since then he was been taking care of his very ill father while running Butler's Auto Shop. Job: Harry is a mechanic but is a very capable handyman and makes a little bit of money on the side cutting keys, doing household repairs, building dog houses, etc. Brief History: Harry was born and raised in Wenig. His father Roy, a tough man by anyone's standards, taught Harry how to play football, follow the ten commandments, box, fix a car, and build a shed. Folks say Roy never recovered from his wife's drowning and that's why he never leaves the house anymore.
Fireman Profile Name: Michael R. Warren Nickname: Earl Age: 62 Appearance: Aged face, gentle grey eyes. Messy, greying hair. Hair is slowly receding. Bald on the top of his head. Overweight, but still strong at heart. General Attire: Jeans, T-shirt and red suspenders. Personality: Sweet old man, light-temper. Known for his generosity and his helpfulness. Family: Wife: Laura Warren Job: Fireman Brief History: Born and raised in Wenig. Family were farmers, until the depression. Hard times during the depression, but got through it. Worked at the dairy to help his families farm. Joined the army once World War II started. Came back, and took place as the new Fireman. Has been in the same spot sense. Sub-Character Profile Name: Laura Warren Relation: Wife Description: Thin elderly woman in her early 60’s. Great cook, and very outspoken. She completes her very laid-back and kind husband. She has very thick silver-grey hair, but has problems with her feet, so it’s a rarity to see her out of the house. Brief History: She has been married to Earl since she was about 18. She was a housewife for him during their entire life together. She could never seem to have kids, but she’s all right with that, as she loves her husband very much.
Character Profile: Name: Allison Jones Nickname: Aly Age: 13 Appearance: chin length brown hair, medium-fair complexion with a few freckles, brown eyes. Never wears makeup. General Attire: usually wears jeans (almost always ripped) and a t-shirt, and an occasional baseball cap. Your average tomboy, basically. The only elegant thing about her is that she wears good sized, square cut diamond earrings at all times. Personality: Stubborn, and bored. Kind of "devil may care" attitude, but she's really just a kid in a small town looking for a bit of excitement. Family: Her father is an average citizen of the town, who does his best to look after her. Her mother has never been in her life, but sent her the earrings (no letters, though) from Paris. Job: Sheriff's secretary Brief History: I guess that about sums it up. She looks for trouble. Etc.
Character Profile: Name: Surreal Tailor Finley Nickname: No one would even dare try give her a nickname Age: 24 Appearance: Long chestnut brown hair her features slightly Asian mixed with a Saxon features brown eyes. She is tall and has a willow like frame. General Attire: She wears a lot of punk attire when not on duty frowned down upon by her employers Personality: Meet the worst cop in the world, she runs on instinct is hot headed and at times chooses to take the law into her own hands to get the desired outcome. While her intentions are often good they tend to come out in the wrong manner. She is bad tempered and likes her own company far better then anyone else’s. Family: One living relation an alcoholic mother Hanna Lee Finley Job: deputy Brief History: her bad temper often getting the better of her. Surreal copped the brunt of her mothers mood swings and violent outbursts. Her father an army man died of a heart attack recently. He had only just retired. Surreal has left her home and has not spoken with her mother for three or so years she has no intention of either.
Post one Surreal Finley Surreal woke to the sound of her alarm clock. It’s screech heard from the lounge room. The television was blaring and she rubbed her eyes before looking at the screen. She’d fallen asleep on the lounge after one to many late nights. On the coffee table a pizza box held stiff crusts and an half eaten piece of pizza that looked a little less then enticing. She lifted herself from the couch. As she did she could hear her bright pink PVC coat pulling away from parts of the coat it had scrunched up to. She took the flight of stairs two the second floor and opened the bathroom door. She often kept it closed at night time to keep the cold out. Behind the door a hanger with her deputies uniform on it swung about. A quick shower and she was dressed and at the mirror. On the bench that held the bathroom sink were lipsticks of just about every colour imaginable. Screaming red oranges a black lipstick and even a blue. She was rather found of her collection that had started when she was eighteen. In front of them were to metal studded leather cuffs she put them on and snapped the poppers closed before looking at herself in the mirror. It wasn’t much of the culture she held so dear, but it was enough for her. So people knew who she was. She was grateful the police department allowed her a little of her punk accessories. The bosses exact statement “as long as she still looked respectful.” She would have liked a crew cut or a blue Mohawk. However since she was accepted for what she was, then she could respect the people who treated her like she was a human being. She took the keys to her Plymouth Volare and headed down the stairs taking them two at a time.
Character Profile: Name: Eisenhart, Edward, Lucio Nickname: Lu Age: 32 Appearance: Both his eyes and hair are brown, though unless light were shining directly on them, they would seem black. Lu's hair is long, coming down to the base of his neck, but it is well kept and usually parted on the right left side. His skin isn't dark, but it is somewhat tan. He has a regal looking demeanor and hard features that give people the impression that he is constantly angry at something. General Attire: He wears fine clothes. Usually some kind of suit jacket over a white, button-up shirt, though he does not tuck it in and the top couple of buttons are usually undone. With this he will usually wear dark blue or black jeans. He has to wear glasses when he reads. Personality: Highly intelligent, contemptuous for social class, sarcastic, self-critical, introspective, mysterious. A real knack for making people feel stupid. Though, despite all this, he has a certain attractiveness to him. Family: (Divorced, Deceased, Deceased, None, Deceased.) Job: Lu is a highly successful novelist and poet. Brief History: Lu was born into a wealthy English family. When he was young, he and his brother Alexander displayed quite a knack for the arts. Since his mother, Elizabeth, and father, Edward were very wealthy. They sent him and his brother to the finest school for writers in all of England. Lu, being the oldest, was the first to graduate. After graduation, Lu decided to walk home, much to the disappointment of his parents. That night, as they drove home, Lu's family was involved in a terrible car accident that took all their lives. Lu would have died too had he not walked home, a fact that he has trouble living with sometimes. Lu went on the become a very successful author and poet. Not sharing his parents' taste for lavish things, he sold the house and most of the things then moved to a small town in America where he could concentrate on his stories. Sub-Character Profile Name: Pilot Relation: Pet Golden Retriever Description: An aged Golden Retriever named after Mr. Rochester's dog from the book “Jane Eyre”. Brief History: Pilot was born to his mother, Cupcake, and his father who was a roaming mutt. Shorty after his birth, he was bought by Lu and given the name Pilot. He seems to have absorbed some of his master's personality.
Rocko slowly opened his eyes and was welcomed with the vision of a blank sheet of paper with only his name on the top. He sighed, and thrust it away from his as he rose from his desk. He had fallen asleep trying to get ideas from the boringness of the town. His back cracked as he stood up from his desk chair. He walked from his door, he could hear the sound of his mother humming. He walked down the steps and was greeted with a warm smile from his mother, as she worked in the kitchen. “Morning Rocky.” She cooed, turning back to the stove. “Morning mom.” He said with a tired voice. He went to the living room, and sat on the edge of the couch as his father flipped through the channels. His father barely looked at him as he moved so he could see the television better. “What do you want Rocky?” he asked, his voice trailing off as the television captivated his attention. He looked at his father, “Nothing.” He snapped, going back to the kitchen. His mother looked at him with her aged, yet loving eyes. “Don’t look so weepy.” She said, lifting his chin, “It’s a beautiful day.” She winked, and dumped the greasy bacon onto the plate. “Why don’t you invite someone over for breakfast?” she asked. His face changed, and he let out a smile as he grabbed for the telephone. He knew exactly who he was going to invite.

Found out that she was the only child they could have. Spouse works at the school with him, teaching first to sixth grade students.
Surreal stopped at the bottom of the stairs as the phone rang, she glared at it, then walked over and scooped up the receiver. “Finley can I help you?” she asked. Her voice held it’s usual cool. "Hey Surreal, it's Rocky." he paused, muffling the sound of his voice as she heard him yell something, "You hungry?" She managed a weak smile Rocky was about the only person in town she managed to get along with as a friend. It was a childhood thing "Sure Rocky I'll be over soon." She said her goodbyes and hurried out the door to her car. It started with a low rumble as she turned the keys in the ignition and drove the short distance to Rocky’s house. He was waiting for her at the front door. She hurried up to the porch and gave another one of her weak smiles. “Hi Rocky, how’s stuff?”
Rocky looked over at the living room with piercing eyes. “Same s***, different day.” He muttered. She nodded in agreement "Story of my life.” He opened the door, giving her a wink as she walked in, “I don’t think they’d even consider using our stories for toilet tissue.” She laughed and said, "You bet Rocky, a shame though. We've got a fair few to tell." He laughed as he remembered their childhood. They had been crazy kids, he wouldn’t change that for the world. They both took a seat at the dining table, as his mother set plates in front of them. “You remember that time at the creek, with the dare?” he said with grin. "Please like I could forget Billy Johnson got so mad he beat me later on when he found out I took his pants and put a fish hook in them. I'd just about do anything you said back then” She gave a soft laugh. He laughed, and added, “That hook tore his pants straight off. Left him with nothing put those stupid superman underwear.” He paused, to snuff down the piece of bacon, “Good times.”
The shallow pool of cow dung's stink swarmed over her head. Shaniz gave her hat a jerk and threw it over the pole and then grabbed the horse on the other side of the dung. She felt useless cleaning up the stables every Thursday. It was disgusting. Simply disgusting. "Yo Shan!" A young boy's squeaky voice was heard from behind. Ignoring it as much as possible, Shaniz jumped on the bareback of the horse and took off. The horses neighed energetically as the air filled with the essence of moss and mud. Shaniz made her way to the town diner. She was a little later than usual, but the diner owner was out for the day so it didn't matter. She parked the horse in the back and then ran into the diner, making a desperate look on her face to convince the cook that she was on time.The cook barely looked at her, and so Shaniz happily took the front desk and waited.
"Morning Pop," said Harry as he slid a plate full of scrambled eggs onto the night stand. "Looks like it's going to be a great day." The old man nodded and mumbled as he began to cover the eggs in ketchup. Harry put a hand on his father's shoulder. "Now make sure you eat everything, you have to keep up your strength." Harry looked at his watch. "Nearly nine, time to open for business, I'll be up to check on you later today." He gently combed his hair, bringing his messy locks of hair into order. He turned away, grabbing his Sheriff’s shirt from the hanger on the door. He slid it on, buttoning it up. He walked out the bathroom door, and went for the closet. He took his handgun from it’s box, and put it in it’s holster. He felt a hand on his shoulder, and he turned around with a smile.
