Americans always make fun of the Eh! that Canadians use a lot. I don't personally but a lot of us do. the one Brits use that I get a kick out of is Knocked up. A friend from England shortly after she moved here was in a little B&B and asked to be knocked up at 7 am. she never used that expression again according to her.
knocked up? I understand our connotation on it, but what exactly did she mean? And as for eh, yes, we do. lol. We also tend to make fun of how you say about. Phonetically it sounds like Aboot.
Hmm, New Years will be something special. Maybe I'll break out the Jagermesiter my brother got me while he was in Germany. lol
well if I ever make it over to the UK I will definately come over and get that glass...or you can always bring it to me
Well who knows Raven I just could end up moving to the UK In the next few years if I get custody of my kids. But hopefully will be visiting in the next 2 years so we may just be able to have that drink together one day
No but sure is closer than Australia I'd not mind going from UK to Falklands for a coffee rather than Australia to Falklands for a coffee.
hahaha yeah but I'll have more money if I wove to the UK than I will if I stay here... I'll have better chances of getting there.
