As a demisexual woman, I have noticed that discrepancy myself. I've taken to calling the Third Wave feminists misandrists more and more.

That was the case, yes, but the term has been hijacked by demonstrable liars who want women to have equality of outcome rather than equality of opportunity. Support for the term 'feminist', but not the concept of equality, has gone down as a result of this. This is why I call myself egalitarian and not feminist.

I'm considering starting a debate room thread about these issues actually. I think this is a rather important social issue right now and it is worth discussing.

I suspect one reason why you tweaked carlys dangly bits was saying feminists rather than extreme feminists, or feminazis …. its a big spectrum. There's a big difference between someone who believes in equality between the sexes and someone who believes in the Andrea Dworkin all sex is rape stuff.

Well to be fair, I have actually only made two postings in which I have mentioned feminism, and in the first one I did write "neo-feminist". I didn't in the second one, and if that caused ambiguity then I will concede that I was unclear and apologise. However, I 100% stand by my original point about the neo-feminist ideology and do not care in the slightest if this was upsetting. The neo-feminist agenda is insidious and harmful to both men and women.

When words that mean one thing by clear definition, are used to
mean something else that has nothing to do with that word based
upon that very definition. Quite curious when people do it though. :p

I definitely shouldn't be annoyed by this but... I came here hoping to post a picture of an angry unicorn, but you guys moved the feminist discussion to the debate room already. :bigeek:

So... see you there, I guess.

Will this make you feel better if I wrote some debatable nonsense.

The Playstation is superior to the XBoX in everyone way fashionable, however neither of them can compare to the power of the PC Master Race, with the abilities to upgrade on the fly, superior graphics and just all around the better choice for gaming. You are just throwing your money away buying a Hax-Box... PS is fin.

HOwever, everyone has Nintendo as that second counsel.

After racking my brain over what "annoys me but shouldn't", I bring you...

Lettuce on a pulled pork sandwich. I want to enjoy both the sweet savoriness of honey barbeque mixed in with the softness of the pork roast that I had the honor of slow cooking myself, and the crunchiness of the lettuce, due to the lack of pickles in the house.
I wanted to eat them together. But instead, try as I might, I can't sever the lettuce with my incisors, and the next thing I know, the whole damn leaf is in my mouth.
Damnit! If I had wanted to eat the lettuce separate from the sandwich, I would have made a damn salad! Instead, all I ate first was a bland leaf lightly covered in honey barbeque! That's like drinking honey barbeque flavored water!
    So that ruined my day.
And don't even get me started on tomato slices on other assorted sandwiches of my choice...:supermad:

Shred the lettuce first, you shredded the pork, didn't you?

Yeah. Admittedly, I only half shredded the lettuce to sizable chunks.

Not much to debate here really.

I identify as a Nintendo fanboy. I am now triggered and require a safe space in which I can play Mario Kart without being oppressed by Halo or CoD.
