Thanks for buying up all the cheap property and taking all the pension money! Guess I'll just work until I'm 90 now!
owwww.... yeah, I hate those too. I have a coffee table I'd love to take a buzz saw to. It's knee, not toe, though....
Just watched two minutes of the Carrie remake. Everyone involved with this film needs beating to death with a VHS copy of the original!! The modern world is full of talentless fucking arse holes!!!
, yes, Hollywood has seem to forgotten how to make good movies and instead mess up old classics. And then play the blame game, when their s*** doesn't stick
It’s not just Hollywood, though. Music, TV, comedy in general... it’s the modern world... it just sucks arse!
I’m miffed when I’m introduced to someone by what they have instead of what they do. “This is Ron, he owns a bar, and has a Mercedes and everything.” I’m thinking he looks like he beats his wife and has a second set of books.
Today's "Tatort". For all who don't know: "Tatort" (=crime scene) is THE German cult crime series. Kinda the crime movie of the week, with varying detective teams. Because of the long-runningness (it started in 1970), the (for some, mystifying) continuously high ratings, and the variety of the teams, they sometimes do experimental stuff. Mostly fails. Like today. It's mostly improv. They took a bunch of police detectives (some known from other episodes, some not), put them in a room, and let them play psycho games. One of them is a serial killer. There was (as I learned later) no script, and the actors had to improvise. Nice work for the actors, I guess, and for people interested in the craft. Story-telling-wise, it sucked. Nothing they did or said made sense. What really annoyed me that no one of these high-profile, highly successful police detectives (or rather, none of the actors playing them thought of) stepped up and said: "Stop this nonsense, I'm a professional, I know my work, gimme the files and a phone and let me DO it." On top of that, they completely ignored series canon. Some actors appeared in different roles (one of them just had appeared as a dirty cop and had shot himself in another episode), other behaved completely different from their usual self, there were completely new biographies (say what? She has a kid? How? When?), one was killed (though the character will appear in the next regular episode of the relevant team, only to leave the cast after that.) What a mess.
People who annoy me but not sure why is my roommate. She talks to herself too much. Well at least a lot more than she talks with me. When she does talk to me, I feel like she is mad and upset that I interrupted her thoughts or something. Right now I am in our room and she is writing something but something about the way she is sitting is irritating me. Now she is talking to herself but that is getting annoying. Guess I need to change the room I am in.
I think you need to take it easy on for Roomy. She sounds a lot like me, except I enjoy solitude and would be happy you left. Lol
I'm sorry to announce that the 2020 summer blockbuster "The Remake of the Writer Forums" starring Cave Troll, is now being put into reshoots that will last up until two weeks before release, so that we can put it through as many demographic test viewings as possible. Cave Troll has also had his role gender-swapped, and will now be portrayed by Kristen Stewart.
It's still being co-directed though by JJ Abrams and Michael Bay for maximum explosions and lens flares. Also, Gal Gadot makes a cameo as action woman
Plant based burgers/chicken tenders/whatever the hell else. Okay, I'm glad you've used an unholy amount of wtf to make this thing not-really taste like meat, but buddy, gimme my extra bacon on that burger. Since I'm gonna die anyway, might as well do it with bacon in my mouth.
