    Thank you my friend,

I try my best to cope, but some days are harder than others. But that's the price you pay, when you read horrible literature. You lose a part of your sanity and the will to continue on reading.

The weather is kind shite. In winter you don't see the sun at all, and you can get down to - 40°C or lower. In the summer there's nothing but sun. Like, around the clock sun. Sun and sweat.

    I second this.

I read a Rom-Rotica that was slowly driving me insane.
I get a bit better each day, but I can't deal with anything
related to 20 something hipster billionaire playboys, or
people that are so full of shit they could start a 1000 acre
    farm. :p

So this is what it's like, when doves cry!

We can make it through, together.

The Empress Theresa, Sonichu and twenty-something billionaire hipsters won't be able to hurt us anymore

The signs dotted about the park where I work, warning dog owners to clean up after their animal:

Dog owners - we're watching you!

    Pick up that poo
    Any rubbish bin will do

It annoys me because the author of this little ditty couldn't see that dropping the word 'rubbish' would have improved the meter massively.

Okay, then Norway in the winter sounds like the place for me but summers are out, too much sun! I never knew Norway got that much sun, interesting, thanks.

Having to write "2020" instead of "20" for dates. I know, it's just two 20s, but still.

but... how excitingly palindromic will the 2nd of February be - AND it can be understood by us Brits who write 2nd Feb as well as you Yanks who write Feb 2nd! 02022020 is a wonderful date bringing peace and harmony

I never write dates that way because everyone has their own methods and I never know what fits where, at least month and day wise. I just do it like this : 12Jan2020 , so the month is clear.

I was asked to read/rev it, so I accepted the challenge.
Though after chapter 4 it is so easy to just skim and
scan through it, since nothing has been going on really.

    Well, Good Sir,

You're a stronger man than I, I couldn't make it passed Chapter 3. But, I'll have to muscle though it one day.

A 1 hour 42 minute video on how AWFUL that book is?? If that’s not doing the BEST EVER job rating it, I don’t know what will!

The passive-aggressive moralising so prevalent today, especially from sports men/women. Be the very best you can, reach for the stars, never give up.

No. If it’s all the same to you I’m going to drink heavily, take drugs, eat a poor diet, under-achieve, frequently give up and have no ambitions.

You watched the whole thing? I made 3 minutes and turned his condescending voice off. I did like the fact he outed the bad writing. I’ve read some popular books—or tried to read—and I just don’t get it, nothing is happening and I can’t get invested in the characters. My wife says, “Maybe it’s like your cooking. You always love it, but what do others say?”

My mum does that all the time.. over everything and my life-choices. There’s so much I could take most of the time. But what are mums for other than to annoy you in their own passive-aggressive way when they don’t even know they’re doing it??
I take that back. I love my mum.
