The 0 results upon any correlation with the filming industry on all classifieds sites is depressing, but I can't say I didn't expect this. A director though is looking for a screenwriter to collaborate with him upon a psychological thriller he's got in mind (for free I presume) and I'm thinking about calling him. You never know...

ETA: I just noticed that this add dated back to 2011...

Geez. Even Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett began many sentences during her nomination hearings with, "So ...".

    I give up.

We all have our quirks. She's pretty fantastic speaking and answering questions otherwise.

The fact that Robert De Niro has become such a movie whore, taking practically anything and everything he’s offered. In fact it seems the more dire the script the more likely he is to do it. He must be well beyond the stage of ‘still having to pay the bills’, so what gives, Bob??

That you can't search for unusual pet setups without some knobsack posting "[insert reptile/large insect] Vs [insert reptile/large insect]" fights to the death videos.

I used to live in Qatar. We didn't go out much during the day.

Meanwhile, I'm a purely equatorial model who has lived most of his life in his native climate. Around the globe, equatorials tend to be short is stature (it's not a rule, there are exceptions), olive toned to brown, and robustly built.

The north has always seemed invigorating to me, but the idea of living anywhere where snow is a real thing is an absolute deal-breaker. I'll take the aggressive nature of tropical wildlife over the bitter edge of winter any day.

That said, I have to mow several acres today under a sun that feels like it's within tip-toe-touching distance.

We once had to write a story about snow in English class. Keeping in mind where we were, almost no one had ever actually seen snow.

Dry heat, I can deal with. But humid heat... eaaaugh.

How Edward Norton was never cast in many films that made proper use of his talents. American History X and Fight Club were great. 25th Hour was okay. Shouldn't really annoy me as those two films were great accomplishments for one man.

I think he has a reputation for being a bit of a whackadoo and difficult to work with. Not sure about that, but I think I remember hearing that.

I watched a video about it awhile back, he definitely was over-reaching in his roles. Apparently he was integral to making American History X come out as it did, though. Unsure if it was for better or worse. Guess scripts like those don't come around too often and if they did people wouldn't want to take the risk with his rep. Don't know if he would have dared pipe up whilst creating Fight Club though haha.

First time I went to Korea (mid-December through April IIRC) we were driving up north, north of the 38th parallel to be exact. Hummer full of Marines going up some goat-track onto a classified site on a mountaintop when all of a sudden one of the guys yells "Stop, stop, stop the truck!" and jumps out--

--to touch snow for the first time in his life. SoCal boy who'd never traveled much.

I've been to northern Georgia in the summer and hell--I couldn't imagine living anywhere south of that. The humidity, excessively leafy trees everywhere you look, deafening cicadas...it feels tropical to me. Here we have hot dry summers and cold winters and that's the way I like it.

I read that he recut that movie and made it his own, and the studio let him do it. The director was pissed. Apparently he also demanded to recut The Incredible Hulk himself. They refused, and he wasn't invited back to play the character again. He's supposedly quite the diva, obsessed with his craft and a control freak. That's according to every article I've read about him. Interesting that he played an actor who comes in and tries to take over the whole show in Birdman.

YT videos of people making things, that show the finished product in the first shot, presumably as some kind of teaser.

No, that’s not a teaser, it’s a spoiler, and I’m now backing out of your video to find a different one!

Their business, I guess, and I may be missing something, but it seems much more difficult to add an item to a pending Amazon order than it is to remove one. I'm thinking I would have done it the other way around.

When people say “I could care less.” when they actually mean the exact opposite, as in they couldn’t care less.

I'll definitely watch that - having read the synopsis. One of the few actors (like Denzel Washington) that I've ever felt the need to root through the cinematography of.

Not a fan of sarcasm? I'm pretty sure that's how that came about. I don't think anyone's being literal when they say it.
