Some awesome PSP games my uncle found laying around. Gotta' go to a retro store about half an hour away and buy a PSP now. Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2. Much hype.
My husband bought me a phone about a month and a half ago. I was quite content without one lol. Now I have to answer it and ring it from his phone to find it half the time...
My roomie is visiting over Christmas. This is really more of a treat for him, because he gets to relax and this house is way nicer than the rental shitbox he's living in in California, but hey, I like him, so things are Good.
Red Dead Redemption II. And some Botanist gin, a gin liquer, and a bunch of dried botanicals to experiment infusing my own gin.
My favourites were all experiences. I got a Thai cooking class voucher, an Indonesian meal voucher, and 2 nights at a hotel in Prague with my husband (I live in Prague so it sounds a lot grander than it is, but it's supposed to be a really nice place where it doesn't feel like you're in the city )
Either that or a hot date*, neither of which is the case. *For the newbies here, yes, I'm kidding. That was my last Amazon order.
Grow lights and new sprout seeds. Spicy sprout mix for my sandwiches and kale for drinks. New reference book for my writing and will get new glasses next year so I can see WHAT dribble I'm writing.
LOL, I know that "exotic" feeling, I need to go to Kyoto soon... to get my shoes repaired, and there's a Burger King there I'll probably have lunch at while I wait.
You're in Japan and you're going to Burger King? But Japanese food!!! I guess for you it's become too normal huh? You lucky...
We bought a Nokia 8 for me to replace my current handset, but it fell foul of the fault that seems a bit too common for comfort (half the screen fails) so we sent it back. Today, since eBay are offering 15% of, I picked up a midrange Xperia for the same price. Let's hope it doesn't let me down. If it does, I'm going to do what i said I'd do in the first place and buy a G6, because my G4 was a good piece of kit for the price.
Got a copy of Wolfenstein II and Ant Man and the Wasp, which I watched earlier today already. (localized version, watched in english though). Spoiler: Photo And a book, local history on the family that built the Copacabana Palace: Spoiler: Photo
Honestly, coming from the galaxy s6 I have nothing but praise for this worthy upgrade. No more typos because even the keyboard has so much improved! The battery life is amazing! I only need to charge it once a day and no more than that, which is shocking to me. I love the size because I do a lot of reading and yea everything about it is great. It may have other cool features but I don't do much with my phone besides mostly calling, texting and reading. If I had one complaint it's that darn BIXBY! the siri want to be. There is even a bixby button they put right below the volume button so that you accidently hit it like...all the time. Oh, and it does have a lot of cool selfie features if you're into that kinda stuff. It's kinda cute but it just makes me miss the good old days when people took pictures and actually looked like themsleves and not filtered out anime/animal hybrids
I just want the camera to take decent pictures. As far as Bixby is corncerned, some people buy the wrap-around cover, and shave off the nib for that pesky button. Problem solved.
Yeah, to fix the Bixby problem in software, you first have to set it up and agree to an encyclopedia of legal guff and then turn it off. I'm not comfortable with that so you'll hear me muttering and cursing when my screen turns blue and that distinctive Bixby sound plays. They definitely have put the button in exactly the right(wrong) place.
Despite some price trepidation, I recently purchased a Razer mechanical keyboard and so far I am happy with this decision. The keys are illuminated for easier typing in the dark and are much firmer than your average cheap-o keyboard. Definitely cutting down on the typing errors.
Oh I despise Bixby....backarrow backarrow homekey take me away!!! You won't regret it. Mine doesn't have illuminated keys, but a couple of years ago I asked for and got an MX Cherry...blue perhaps? Medium tension, clickety clickety keyboard and it is so much nicer to type on than anything I've used previously.
Sounds like one of those sculptures you sometimes see in the avant-garde museums, something from Marcel Duchamp's Readymades collection, perhaps?
