Thanks for the interest. It lacks the original resonance it had. Espcially the hi E string. It also refuses to stay tuned. Good for firewood.

Sounds like it just needs a bit of adjustment. Happens on occasion especially if it's got a floating bridge.

We got a floor globe a few years back as a Christmas present to ourselves. I know it's silly, but I love it, and I do look at it. It shows the correct proportions of everything. Turn the globe one way, and there is hardly any land visible at all. The Pacific is HUGE compared to the Atlantic. I guess I never really grasped that fact till I got the globe. Also the fact that Africa is huge ...but lies farther north than South America ...again, by a LOT. I love our globe.

Last thing I bought just got delivered today ...an old-fashioned pastry cutter to cut flour and shortening together. For when I make PIE! :) Been wanting one for a while, but just kept forgetting to get one.

Book on the Illuminati, just cause, apart from all the other things I like on the side, conspiracy theories an such intrigue me. The book is called,

The Illuminati: The Secret Society That Hijacked the World by Jim Marrs. Amazon says it'll be here by next Friday.

You could get a locking nut, to keep it in tune.

After way too much time looking, two pairs of summer PJs on the way, from two different online stores, and still looking for a third. It is very important to have the right PJs! They must be lightweight but not too short or too see-through, not too juvenile nor too granny, no dull or gloomy colors, not ridiculously expensive, sturdy enough for real life, washable with regular machine washing and drying (duh!), preferably silky with a big splashy floral print! Now why is that so damn hard to find? A pair of gold and cubic zirconia earrings hopped into my online cart too. Oops!

I was given a "van-warming" present for my camper

It has "unt" on it, which is Romanian for butter, so I guess it's some kind of buttercup joke?

Choc rice cakes, choc breakfast biscuits, and cookies and cream flavoured milk. :p

ETA: The cookies and cream milk does taste like an Oreo smoothie, without the crumbs. :p

Went to Home Depot and bought a compressed air-powered gizmo for a last-ditch effort to unclog my kitchen sink before I call a plumber I can't afford.

Yes it is. Though how did you get a hold of something from another world?
