yep, mines got the scissors too, with a clear-ish red plastic case. i use it for scalpin' motherfuckers.
My crusty old iPhone 5s with its broken screen, which switches itself off when the battery is at 30% and can't run two pieces of software at once, has finally been replaced by a lovely new iPhone 7
I watched an unboxing of one of these, and liked the idea of the screwdriver/bottle opener (to replace the bottle opener on my keyring) but I watched the wrong video, didn't I? And this one don't have a bottle opener. Still going on my keyring, though.
I bought a few sweets. Spoiler The Mickey Mouse biscuits are not for me. I have a 2 year old who will enjoy those instead.
2016 I sold my PS2 Slim and upgraded to PS3. Mainly play racing games. GT 4, F1 and Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition on the PS2 and 3. My fav being the Polyphony GT series. Played GT4 for 100s of hours and never got sick of it. Spending most of my time tuning cars for better handling and performance. Spending months just on one track for the tuning and how much fun cars are to drive in this simulator. The driving dynamics is the main selling point of GT. But gameplay is still important. GT4 had tons of different races and the best were the long distance ones, my fav being the Nurbergring and Le Mans 24hr. Then was utterely disappointed with GT5 & 6. Compared to 4, these versions are just horrible. Sure the driving dynamics are amazing, but the gameplay was severely butchered and only after a comparitively small amount of hours, I've reached the end of the game and am left dissappointed because you can only get into the serious end of tuning in the last section and that only has several tracks with short races. The gameplay throughout is monotonous, each next level up section just repeating the previous level and you have to play for hours and hours just to be able to afford one top end race car, let alone improvement parts. F1 and Midnight club were also butchered in different ways for PS3. This is what I've noticed about puta and console games over the last decade and a half. Gameplay is severely sacrificed for amazing visuals. It's like creators think folks will be so amazed by the visuals that gameplay is unimportant, that perhaps they seem to think this is all gamers are interested in. I've decided to sell my 2 PS3s and all the games(bought a 2nd one as a spare) and am looking at returning to PS2 just for GT4 and the other 2 racing games, knowing I'll still enjoy 100s of hours or driving. But also considering upgrading to a PS4 and avoiding Polyphony's shitty GT Sport, 'cus the reviews all state how horrible it is, for it's shortfalls are the same as what I mentioned about GT5 & 6 Would purchase Project Cars 1 & 2 and F1 2017-8, perhaps Trackmania and a couple of others. Though upgrading to PS4 is far more expensive and I may not like the new games. Thus I'm more inclined to return to PS2 and my three fav racing games, though would go PS4 if there was huge sale on. I picked up a complete PS2 system at the local tip a few months ago for $5. It's one of the earlier versions and looks a mess, but I may be able to get it up and running. Then this morning while checking out Harvey Norman's sale, I came across this... Super Nintendo Classic Mini I'm now heading into Lonnie to pick one up. Mainly for Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World & Yoshi's Island. Need to cleanse my palette of my disappointment of PS3.
I used to spend hours just dicking around tracks for the sole purpose of watching those glorious replays. They'd look incredibly dated now, but back then I'd never seen anything like it.
If that thing wasn't real it would be quite funny, but it has to be the most ridiculous and pointless waste of time and resources ever.
Nah, it's all modular. You can special order any combination and it goes together in about thirty seconds.
I was just about to say I think it's a slight caricature of the real thing, but the real one is still stupid, modular or not.
Agreed. visuals of GT 4 were a huge step up from GT 2, thus making it enjoyable to sit back and watch replays, though I also enjoyed the replays in GT2. For PS1, GT1 was excellent, GT2 was a huge improvement, though there are glitches and errors in all versions, the dynamics and gameplay were good. For PS2, GT3, was a complete overhaul, but the cars slide out too easily. GT 4 was the best, and introduced the long races and the amazing Nurbergring track. 5 & 6= sadness, though I still spend hours on a couple of tracks and enjoy the replays. Nurbergring, LeMans, Bathurst, Brands Hatch are the main ones I like. Got me Super Nintendo, and had a chat with me 2 fav salespeople. PS4 is worth grabbing, for Project Cars, F1 and an even better similator, Assetto Corsa. So when they're on sale, I'll grab one sometime in the next couple of years, with extended warranty as Sony is another company that has dropped their quality.
Last thing I bought was today: groceries, including the most important item: chocolate-covered almonds. Before that, the last things I bought were facial serum, file folders, and incense. ETA: And a little backpack-sized charcoal grill for the emergency kit.
