A pimple above the first knuckle on my pinky. Not a particularly large or interesting pimple, but on my finger? Weird.

I had one on the pad of my thumb once. Little white dot, deep in the flesh. Didn't hurt, but I could see it moving closer to the surface each day over a couple weeks, and one day it crowned and popped out, leaving a nice clean circular hole that healed quickly.

    Just weird.

Went out shopping with the boyfriend today, we found a print of a woman being lifted into a UFO for $20. We couldn't not get it.

Yeah, those pricks are sneaky. And insidious. There's something weird about a pimple's patience.

It didn't hurt or anything, just sat there, creeping closer and closer.

Or is that farther and farther, since it was in the process of leaving my body?

    Hmmmmmmmmm

I've had both, an ingrown hair, even though no hair is ever visible. The latter were several over the years, and in different places on my hands, and mainly while I was working on PCs. Must be aliens. o_O

One of these, in advance of a trip I'm taking in little over a week:
Factory refurbished version, since my finances aren't equal to buying one new.

I haven't had the chance to take all the features for a spin, because the power point in my car got fried out last November by a defective charger/inverter unit and I won't be getting a new one put in till next Tuesday. So I can't tell you how the built-in dash cam or any of the other through-the-windshield features function. It has enough battery so I could lay it on the passenger seat and let it talk me through a short trip yesterday. It was a little weird that for the last, unfamiliar part of the route, the voice took me nearly a mile out of my way. I dunno, maybe trying to avoid some minor road works on the direct route. I ignored that suggestion on the way home. It was only a contraflow, no big deal.

What's driving me a little nuts with this GPS is that, when you're planning a trip, this device won't let you just put in the roads you want to take. A scenic route, for instance. Instead it's a complicated process of trying to anticipate where the AI will want to divert you to the road you don't want and entering waypoints to keep you on the one you do. Which is a complicated, fumble-fingered process.

I guess that's typical for all Garmin satnav products.

Last night I thought I had all the right data entered for the first leg of my trip, but nope. It's still taking me off my desired route, and I don't know if that's because it thinks what it's given me is shorter, or because I accidentally hit the wrong waypoints. It's kind of important, because I have a tour booked for an attraction 500 miles down the road, and I have to get there in time to pick up my reservation.

There are online apps where you can plan your trip on your computer and download the results to your Garmin. Has anybody here safely used one you can recommend? I don't want to end up with malware on my laptop or on my new GPS.

Investment property (this will be fun). More socks and birthday gifts for my youngest niece - a back scratcher first (so she can be disappointed) then two books (nature stuff, she loves that) and a Nintendo switch with three games.

I got an iPad Pro 11" on a 24 month contract with my first royalties payment.. It's already let me write more and helped me break through blocks. I've also ordered the apple pen 2nd gen and a cheap foldable keyboard for it... :) I'm hoping I can macgyver hand writing my work as well, just another way to break through blocks.

I am debating on canceling that phone order as I am afraid it is an expensive piece of junk.

Review sites are your friend before making purchases, expecially sites with actual users, not professional reviewers as some whore themselves out to write false positive reviews.

A quick glance at google search results shows the reviews are mostly favourable.

Try Procreate if you like to draw.

A couple of talented kids I know really like to draw with it.

Hooray! Just *got* $600 in toll road evasion tickets because I was sure I put the toll road account on autopay. Apparently, this wasn't the case...
