A tire, it was worth the extra 6 bucks to not have to
limp my car all the way to Show Low. :)
Also it was fast, like 10min maybe, from when I got
there to when they got the tire on the rim.

You didn't do balancing and alignments on tire replacement? Hope you don't have some crazy steering or a wobble.

They balanced it. I couldn't drive on the old one cause
it was starting to show belt. So it's good to go. :)

At least they balanced it. I usually do a set alignment with the opposite tire too. I purchase a lifetime alignment for my car now, which was only double the price of one alignment, so I just do them all the time now. I like that smooth ride where I can release the steering wheel and not be concerned of any lean.

Does having a free burial through the military as a veteran benefit count towards this? Paid in the struggle.

I can't remember if four years covered that back in my day.

Cool. Although my instructions are to burn me as cheaply as possible and scatter the ashes to the winds, it's good to know. Not all of those post-9/11 (if it is one) benefits are retroactive or I'd be a Ph.D candidate on the GI Bill by now.

Is funerary a real word or an American one? Shouldn’t it be funeral costs?

Quick google. The funeral is the ceremony itself, funerary is all the associated stuff: coffin, embalming, cremation or burial, payments to the High Priest for annual renewal of the curses on the grave to prevent unwanted resurrection, etc...

Went into town to get a birthday card.

Picked up one of those multi store voucher cards as well as it was the only one that had her favourite store in it.

Anyways I got to check out and the older woman at the check out looked at the card and said

'' Oh that's lovely that someone is turning 80, is it for your gran?''

    I said '' It's for my sister '' ( she's turning 43)

The lassie behind her on the other check out burst out laughing while the one serving me thought it was cheeky

Some Epoxy Resin, as I'm making a resin lamp, leading to my making a resin coffee table. It's weird stuff but quite satisfying to work with once it's hardened.

Me too, love watching them build, and the end result always looks awesome. Not sure I'll have a vid but I will have pics for sure. I'll let you know how it turns out.

This is a pretty Happy thread post as well that requires some setup to understand, but let's get to the first part first:

Some "Black Leather" cologne that I've had my eye on for a while.

Now the backstory. Tsutaya is a large Japanese chain that started out life as a video shop, added on music, books, and manga, and has now finally metastasized into an artsy department store with a fancy-ish grocery store in the building as well. They've got a video rental card that morphed into a loyalty points card which you can now use at their "partner businesses" which seem to be everywhere. Convenience stores, sporting goods shops, big-box electronics places, whatever. And yeah, it's to track you for marketing, but who isn't doing that these days. The only place you can redeem your points, however, is at a Tsutaya.

So for a couple years I've been slapping my T-Points card down here, there, and everywhere. Don't often shop at the Tsutaya chain itself, but a while ago they got in a new line of cologne, including "Sumo Wrestler" (in reference to the perfumed hair oil they use, not their sweaty frames), Roasted Green Tea, and the aforementioned Black Leather.

Which smells like, well, black leather.

    Which Mrs. A likes.

So I decided since it was payday to treat myself to a bottle of the stuff. $35 bucks plus tax. When I got to the register the girl asked me if I had a T-Points card and when she scanned it she told me that if I wanted to use all my accumulated points I'd only have to pay the sales tax.

    Free cologne, yo...

And now you smell like an old-fashioned General Practitioner's kit bag. :)

Bought some beard stuff for the first time in my life despite the fact I've had a beard since I was about 18 but regularly trimmed it. Have to say I'm enjoying the oil, smells amazing. I might not even use it, I might just keep it in my pocket and sniff the bottle when I feel like it. I'm enjoying the beard shampoo though, very nice stuff. The regular all in one shampoos were my go to for years but this stuff is just MmMmMmmm in a bottle.

    That's all .

Got a recommendation? I've been bearded for a while now but only ever used either shampoo or facial scrub or both.
