No thanks. It's in the corner of my jaw and extends from behind my ear to halfway down my neck. Could always be worse, though... like a missing finger or punctured testicle.

They're a multifaceted gem of a confection. When I eat them, I can shoot saliva out from under my tongue like 4 feet. Yes, yes, this is on my resume.

Just treated myself to a 30ml bottle of Paco Rabanne. All I'll say is the scent better improve as it mixes with my pheromones (or whatever it is it's supposed to do to make it unique to the individual) or I've just wasted £14. It smells like knock-off Brut!

Just got a WW1 reenactment-quality German uniform. I blame my passion for world history. Looking forward to getting it in the mail soon

That's a seriously fine pallet there. I worked in a textbook warehouse one summer and ended up having to move a literal ton (2000+lbs) of books from one pallet to another when the first one cracked as I was trying to shrink-wrap it. Low-quality thin slats, big gaps between them, lots of knots.

Really serious when I offer my admiration for that pallet.

16 years here, if we are only counting bought haircuts. Been mangling mine since age 15 when I gave myself an emo hair cut. Bangs in the eyes, sticking up in the back. Just utter perfection.

Managed to snipe a grade A- HP Elitebook with an i7 and SSD for £150 recently, it arrived today. It's in mint condition and I'm impressed by how replaceable its inner components are. I'd say as a secondary/necessity laptop, these are superior (Armageddon surviving) makes than Lenovo Thinkpads. No more sitting in the claustrophobic corner of doom for me.

An Edgar Allan Poe tarot deck. The illustration is beautiful but haunted. As one would expect from such a deck.

An under-desk infrared heater. No more need for the space heater, which died sometime during the warm months anyway.

If I could "like" this a thousand times, i would! The library is always so cold and the way my desk is, i dont have an outlet for a space heater (i have a giant wool blanket at my desk instead)!! this would be heaven!
i see no cord for it, so im assuming you dont need to plug it in? where did you get it?

It does have a cord, got it off of Amazon Japan but if you go to Amazon US (probably other places as well if you aren't worried about impoverishing Mr. Bezos) and search for "folding desk heater" there are some options. I can't even endorse this one yet, it's worked for a couple hours but that's no guarantee. Best of luck!

Electronic heaters should be internationally prohibited.

After Dogberry's Watch's post about poe tarot I ended up in a rabbit hole of Amazon and popped out the other end with a 2021 "magical" planner/coloring book.

That's why it's a bad idea to leave them on while you're sleeping. The same applies to things like electric stoves and candles.

I use an oxyacetylene torch balanced on a pile of old newspapers to keep my bedroom warm, is that bad?
