They pretty much have but none of it interests me. I loath modern TV culture.

I don't mind it, even though it is riddled with preaching and virtue signaling. It is FAR more creative and original than movies.

You sure about that? I can think of a rock'n movie that goes to eleven.

Yeah I’ve never seen The Commitments but there’s no way it’s a better rock and roll movie than Spinal Tap.

But surely that’s down to the scope that TV allows? TV shows have film-sized budgets and run for countless seasons. A film is 90+ minutes and that’s it. Either way, give me a classic 70s/80s movie over any modern TV show every time! I don’t know what it is about modern TV culture but it sickens my soul somehow.

Some epoxy putty pellets and Red Dead Redemption 2. I had RDR2 about 12 months ago, played about 10% of the campaign and then for reasons I can’t recall traded it in for something else (probably because it still had a trade-in value of about £25 back then). Anyway I stumbled across some gameplay on YT and the itch returned.

Nope! "The Commitments" is better! "This is Spinal Tap" is funnier, and VERY good. BUT, "The Commitments" encompasses all the angst of teen-age rebellion, yearning to be 'something' in life, and incredibly GOOD music, all along with a sense of hope.

A flying V body, 22 fret solid 1 piece neck with bird inlays,
and all the extra bits needed to make it look and work
    like it's supposed to. :p

Now I need to sort out what color(s) would work well with
chrome. Also out of curio if anyone knows, can you put a
    temp tattoo on wood? o_O
Might have to pull out the old science-fitctiontific
skills and test this theory. :p

Yesterday we bought my grandson a compound bow, arrows, and various other accouterments. His dad promised him he could hunt elk once he can pull 55#. Kid's a great shot with a rifle and recurve bow, so I don't doubt for a second he'll do well with the compound bow.

Nice. How close does the neck junction jut out? About 16th fret or so? My PRS is a 22, and while it's tapered enough that I can hit all the frets on the high strings, I have a tough time reaching past 17 or so on the lower strings. Short stubby fingers... the bane of my existence.

It looks like it will have pretty good overall access the whole way
where it will be bolted on. But I feel ya on reach, cause I have small
hands too. The 7-string has a baritone neck and the first 5 frets are
    a stretch for me.

Okay. Looks like a Jackson/ESP kind of copy. Those will have unrestricted access all the way up the hilt. And if it's bolt-on you won't have the bulge at the end. My Jackson Kelly lets my grab all the way to 24 without feeling any restrictions, and that's neck-thru with no bolt. A lot of people poo-poo the bolt on--and pay $1000 more for the neck thru trim option--but I've heard a lot of people say that the glue required to hold the neck actually deadens the resonance between the body and neck piece, whereas the bolt on places both planks of wood flush again each other.

Biggest thing I noticed about my new PRS is that it DIDN'T have the jumbo metal/shredder frets that my Jacksons have. I was wondering why I was able to glide over my PRS so easily until I picked up Jackson and was like, hey, what are these enormous pieces of metal doing on the neck? So much easier for me to play... particularly when I measured it an realized my PRS neck was like 6 inches shorter than my Jackson's. But after playing that thing almost exclusively since 1995, all the ergonomic advantages of the PRS were like a double bonus for me.

I might believe the flying part, but only because a bean burrito is more powerful than mere science. Digestive distress is part of the Taco Bell experience and its charm.

Yes, but you’ll be feeling like you were hit by a bus after your jab. Anyway, isn’t this rather a case of locking the stable door after the horse has bolted? You must be the last person on Earth to be double jabbed.

Nope, Japan is waaaay behind. I'm one of the first under-65 non-medical workers to get both shots actually. We're also in our fourth state of emergency.

I'm not sure. On the Jackson 7 it's got extra jumbo frets (practically mountains),
and the neck fret board is 20.5in. long and 2.75 inches at the heel. It has a rounded
tongue where it bolts on, but with how thick/wide the neck is at the heel makes it
hard to get my hand around it properly.
The green guitar I built, has a much narrower neck and the frets are about half that
of the J-7, and the fret board length is a little shorter at 19.5in. I think it's a Jackson
Dinky styled kit, with a few design changes like the frets being smaller. So I kinda know
what you mean on faster action.
I'm not sure how the action will be with the V, since I plan on putting on an Alnicov
neck on it. Went for a custom Frankenstein build with it, instead of regular kit or
similar style neck with the arrow head headstock. So I guess I'll find out how the
action will be when I get the parts.

As for the bolt on v. set in, I'm not sure. From what I've researched the set in glued
joint is considered to be a stronger joint than bolt on. Makes me question what kind
of crazy things are they doing with their neck when playing. o_O
As for tone, I can't say. I would think that a set in would have more resonance like a
solid piece of wood does, with a little bit brighter sound. The body wood also plays a
factor in tone, since like drums the wood of the shells can vary based on type.

This cheapo field watch. I wanted a new, easy to read everyday wear, but I also have a new leather project I want to try out, that being the making of a strap. I think a nice dark weathered leather strap on this will make it look like twice its value.

I recently inherited a pair of these by Loakes of london (My late uncle ordered them but never wore them and we take the same size)... they are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever encountered...I also got a pair of Loakes Rivington suede boots which are considerably more comfy
