Recently I came up with the idea of having a "Thread of the Week." The idea is to have a discussion as a forum community on a topic most of us are interested in, to discuss the topic in more depth than we might otherwise, share knowledge, come to conclusions, increase writing-related discussion, and possible develop and compile a resourceful reference thread. What does everyone think? Good idea? I might go ahead and create the first one tonight; what topics would you like to see? I was thinking of choosing "the current state of e-publishing" for the first topic, though I'm open to suggestions. What topics do you think would be good for our first few weeks? For future featured threads I can choose from submitted topics or we could even vote on the topic of the week. Let me know what you guys think! I'm open to suggestions.
