Thoughts on a "Thread of the Week" community discussion

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Daniel, Jul 22, 2014.

Recently I came up with the idea of having a "Thread of the Week." The idea is to have a discussion as a forum community on a topic most of us are interested in, to discuss the topic in more depth than we might otherwise, share knowledge, come to conclusions, increase writing-related discussion, and possible develop and compile a resourceful reference thread.

What does everyone think? Good idea?

I might go ahead and create the first one tonight; what topics would you like to see? I was thinking of choosing "the current state of e-publishing" for the first topic, though I'm open to suggestions. What topics do you think would be good for our first few weeks?

For future featured threads I can choose from submitted topics or we could even vote on the topic of the week.

Let me know what you guys think! I'm open to suggestions.

Sure, why not? Sounds like it also might be a great inspiration for a new story...count me in!
