Have you noticed on the Writing Forums page, on each forum, you can see how many people are viewing the forum? well, I have an idea: why don't we put the (3 viewing) [that was an example] on each thread so that the thread publisher would know how many people are viewing their thread. just a suggestion.
Because it is already there, at the very bottom of the page "Currently Active Users Viewing this Thread: # (#members # guests)."
