Three Quick Questions

Hi.

1.) How do you spell "ca-mun-yen", like the religious type. (Sorry, I hope you can understand that.)

2.) What is the proper way to spell "sell sword"? Is it sell sword, sellsword, or sell-sword?

3.) Is there a specific forum for grammar here? I need to stick that sucker right in my Favorites Bar . . .

What's a sell-sword?

 

sell-sword, as in mercenary

at least, that's what i would assume.

 

never heard it called that till now... but i guess it makes some sense, albeit awkwardly...

 

I've only seen sellsword used once, in a fantasy novel I read a while back. So I'm not sure if it's a "real" word; I think the author just made it up.
