Top GENERAL publishers who accept un-agented submissions

    So if you already know all this, why are you saying things that make no sense?

    For example, your "author picky" and "publisher picky" distinction is nonsense - there are two parties in any sale to a publisher, and both the author AND the publisher should be picky about their publishing partners. Your "general fiction" publishers are just as "publisher picky" as Harlequin - they just pick other types of books.

    So if you want this thread to be a thread to collect publishers of general fiction that don't require agents, fair enough, but your larger attempts to categorize/organize publishing make no sense.
