I just saw the most disturbing thing on TV. It was about TV's in showers. They have come up with a shower that has a TV in it....seriously when are they going to stop going to the extremes with technology? Isn't this going a bit TOO far? What next? TV in the trees as you walk through the park?
I think technology is going way over board these days. I mean do we really need mobiles that can do video calls? There are a lot of things we can really do without in my opinion. Peopple are just never gonna be happy till we live in a completely modified world where nothing exists except computers!
Aye, I was thinking that the other day. We have machines to wash and dry our clothes, machines to wash and dry out pots, machines to make phone calls, watch people on TV, give us music, fly thousands of miles, the list goes on. then again, this is coming from a computer addict.
hahaha too right there heather I'd be lost without my mobile and computer and the internet, but I don;t need my mobile to show me the face of the person I'm talking to on the other end. I need it to ring people and that is it. And I don't need to watch TV in the shower either. Just silly. I mean they have TV's on your fridge doors as well now and that just seems stupid as...
think of the waste of water if you got watching something. I am a mother I have extremely fast showers out of habit. Little kids calling tend to make short quick showers. I would get the feeling there was a stranger in there with me. Yikes.
yeah I agree with that lessa. Would be creepy watching tv in the shower when you think about it. Imagine if you were watching a horror movie that was on TV in the shower...could end up with you falling and splitting your head open if you got freaked out by it....
It'd also have to be steam-proof, requiring an exceptionally expensive fan to keep the picture crystal clear for the duration of the shower.
Well with shampoo running down my face and water sprinkling across my body from head to toe i can't say as Id really be consentrating enough to concentrate on watching it. And if its the sound your listening too. My advice. Stick with the radio.
hahahaha imagine that, washing your hair and watching TV. You'd end up with shampoo in your eyes and damn trhat hurts too. Some people are just idiotic if you ask me lol
Oookay... That's just about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. "Lalala, watching TV... OH GOD MY EYES!!!" And, considering that the hot water runs out at my house in about 20 minutes... Yeah. That's ridiculously stupid. I only like technology that is actually useful in some way or another. Computers are useful. Dishwashers are useful. TV in the shower? Not so much.
Okay a TV in the shower is a little over board, but we still need technology. Computers are needed because it makes life easier. Technology is needed because humanity is always there to make life easier. But sometimes thats a good thing. Computers are lot better then running around in a giant library with just books and outdated cards to find books. Washing and dishing machines are a lot better then red sores on your hands and cuts from the knives you cleaned. I think with the way our world had been modified technology is modified. Unless you don't live in the city you'd look pretty weird in a Park washing your clothes in the lake. Machines are a necessary tool. Especially when society has to balance so many things all ready. In our days life we have to balance school, work, family, chores, money, food, etc. Without Machines we would all probably fall flat on our butts to tired to continue. With as much as society is modified we need modified technology to defeat the crazy demands of life. But TV showers are ridiculous don't get me wrong. A cellphone is made to make calls not videos. A shower is meant to clean you not watch TV. There are things that don't go hand in hand. And TV and showers are on thing.
True. There are a lot of things that we don't really have time for that can be done in less than ten minutes with technology. I'd rather put my clothes in the washing machine than run down to the river, soak my clothes, scrub them with soap, and hang them to dry. Technology that makes life easier is good. Just wait. I'll bet you scientists are working on water-proof laptops.
