Hey milk lady!” David shouted his eyes looking up meeting Morgan’s as skipped up the stage. “You’re the milk cow lady my friend was talking to.”
Morgan ignored David's comment in attempt to remain professional, but you could see in her eyes how offended she was by this weirdo.

"Get off the stage. Please." She said, annoyed, struggling to keep calm. "But how else are we supposed to crown a King and Queen for this dance. We need to play 80s music so some guy can come and dance with you after saving ya!"

Get. Off. THE STAGE!" Morgan said, raising her voice. Her irritation was undeniable.

"Aw shit." Mikkish said under his breath "David. Homie. What are you doing?" He whispered, as he started in their direction "Scuse me. Move." Mikkish said, as he began pushing though the crowd of students. He didn't want to see this retard get hurt. It wasn't right.

    "Why?" David asked

"Jesus Christ!" Donny muttered as he face palmed. "Morgan what kinda freaks did you invite here?"

    "Why?" David asked again

Morgan looked from Donny to David, starting to feel overwhelmed as her frustration grew. Was this kid on drugs. Drugs other than weed? Or perhaps just a little too drunk?

"You're ruining the speech. GET OFF THE STAGE!" Morgan yelled.

"I'm not giving a speech." David said

Donny balled his fist his knuckles popping. "She means Ace!"

    "Who's Ace?"

Morgan paused for a moment, as her fury built up, to be let out in a single "UGHGHG!" She yelled "ACE! ACE FUCKING STARDUST! God damnit did you just fucking get here!? His speech is the reason you were invited here!" She had failed to keep professional in front of the potential recruits and Ace, but right now she didn't care "Donny! Get him off!" The crowd of guests remained silent. Some were waiting for the situation to be resolved, but most were waiting for a fight to happen.

"My pleasure he said." Donny was on David in second grabbing the smaller boy by the arm and began dragging him across the stage.

    Then David simply stopped

His feet stopped sliding and his arm simply locked in place as Donny continued to pull but blue haired swordsman wasn't budging.

"What the fuc-" And before Donny could finish that sentence David's fist plowed into his rib cage.

Donny made coughing sound as his feet left the ground the sound of his ribs cracking clear and before anyone could start screaming about a fight. Donny’s body flew through the wall on the opposite end of the stage the sound of plaster and brick smashing to pieces leaving a nice view of the night and Donny on his back side.

David's eyes twitched as he wiped away snot. "Anyway why do you sound like dying moose?" David asked Morgan

Morgan paused for a moment, her mind still processing what had just happened. This little guy had just thrown big ass Donny though a wall. She saw it. It happened. Once everyone else realized this, the party erupted into cheering and chanting.

    Some happily shouted "Fight!" repeatedly

And some angrily called "Get the fuck off stage!"

Morgan had every reason to be terrified of David at this point. Blue haired freak, likely a hard drug addict calls her a cow and attacks one of her boyfriends on stage...and knocks out a hole in the wall in the process. Yes, any girl, mage or not, would be scared. But Morgan knew a form of magic which was much deadlier than physical buff. She knew the dark art known as blood magic, or hemomancy, as some called it.

Not saying anything, she balled her hands into fists, which both began glowing with a dark, red aura. David's nose began bleeding profusely, but this was not the extent of Morgan's blood magic. She could make him bleed from his every orifice until all his blood was gone. She was also knowledgeable in physical buff, and could dodge David's attacks if he tried to stop her. David was fucked.

Or he would have been, had Mikkish not managed to push his to the stage in time. 'What the fuck is she doing to him?"He thought, before climbing up on stage behind her, and speed dashed at her with his fist, which crashed into the back of her head, knocked her on her face, and stopped her blood magic from hurting David any further.

"David! What the fuck are you doing?" He yelled

David pointed at his nose. "Bleeding." He said simply as he jumped off the stage. "I gotta go to the bathroom." He said as he began to wander off.

Mikkish didn't say anything, just quickly jumped off the stage and into the mass of now confused students, who's cheering and yelling had now died down into a chatter.

    "Is she ok?"
    "Is the party over?"
    "What the fuck was that?"

The various voices said to one another, as Mikkish ignored the judgmental stares of the party guests on his way to the liquor table to grab another shot.

'Why?' He thought as he downed the vodka 'Did I stand up for that idiot?'

I watched confused as David got on stage and began talking to the woman from before. She was rather enraged at the sudden interruption to the speech, I tried to make my way forward, however the crowd was already roaring for a fight. "Darn it... why do people get this way when people fight...? It's senseless violence...!" I thought, grasping my locket quietly. I watched as the much larger man grabbed David, I couldn't bear to look, so I shut my eyes and turned my head. After a second... I heard a crash nearby. I opened my eyes and saw... David was alright, still standing, I looked and saw that the man had flown through the wall not too far away from me.

I assumed that would be the end of it, so I rushed over to the newly created hole and jumped through, even though he might have tried to attack David, he could still be injured badly. Plus, David did do something quite rude, while they shouldn't have escalated it to such a level, he did still provoke the whole situation. I knelt down beside the fallen man. "Excuse me, are you alright? Are you injured? I know some healing magic." I said, doing my best to keep the panic out of my voice, I knew that my healing magic was decent, but I wouldn't know how well it would work if he had a severe wound.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Leon had just walked out of an unoccupied room, zipping up his jacket with a satisfied smile on his face. "Ah... too easy." He thought. He had arrived to catch Ace's speech, he just watched disinterested. "Coexistence? Boring... I'd much rather be in charge, thank you very much." He thought, crossing his arms while the rest of the fools applauded. "Though I cannot deny, he is one fine specimen..." He thought smirking, he would have to try to get him into bed later.

When the fight broke out he was cheering against David. "Beat that retard!" He cheered, he booed when the much larger man had easily been overtaken by the retard. "You can't beat a retard?! How pathetic can you get?!" He called out, then... he saw what that woman was doing... she was making him bleed. "Holy crap... that's pretty awesome, I definitely gotta learn that!" He thought smirking. His smirk turned into a frown quickly when Mikkish had interrupted the woman with a well placed punch to the back of her head, he booed loudly. He wanted to see David get hurt even more, the boy had pissed him off quite a bit and would have loved to see his ass get handed to him.

I stop as I hear commotion going on back inside. Curious I turn around and peak in to see some blue haired guy making a fool of himself up on stage. "Well that's.....something I guess." I say mostly to myself seeing as the scene quickly escalates into a fight. I jump seeing the Donny guy getting thrown out through the wall. "Holly hell!" I couldn't help but yell. I wasn't too interested by the blood magic. As cool as it looked I was more interested in the boy who jumped out to go check on the guy who flew through the wall.
I mosey around the side of the building to where the boy was checking on the guy outside. "Hey, He doin' ok? He looked tough so it'd be pretty lame if he died from something like that." I say to Joe looking towards Donny on the ground.

Jinx fought her drooping eyes at the edge of the party. After the long trip with the boat she was beat. She barely got a chance to talk to any of the living with a dead fisherman complaining about some girl named Betty he was supposed to meet in 1712. Her thoughts moved to the young man, pinned to the wall at the end of that alley, with his eyes hanging out of their sockets by the nerves. Written in blood near his corpse read "If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out." She cringed wishing that the man had hung around to answer some questions, but she figured the reaper was doing his job right.
She remained quiet, watching the commotion happening around her, before taking a sip of straight vodka. She smiled the taste reminding her of her uncle Boris.

She sighed, and walked over to the drink bar to get more alcohol. Her head was already spinning but with luck she would pass out, before Darren, Axe, and Gert would begin the screaming. She could already feel them behind her back and making lewd comments at the young women around them. She grit her teeth, wishing she could help them move on. She sighed, unwilling to help them commit murder to avenge their deaths. She peered over to see the young man who ran on stage. She opened her mouth to say something to him, "Uh..H.."

She sighed closing her mouth and shaking her head as she began to step away her black heels slipping slightly with the excess alcohol. She stopped mid stride as a scream erupted in her ear. She jumped, slipping on her heel before slamming into a stack of beer cans. She spilled her drink all across the floor and looked up at a few angry males. She stood, "Sooo...sooo..sorry. You see the scream scared me."

The largest male gave her a confused look, "Scream?"

She blinked and turned to look at a small girl with blond hair and a missing arm smirking with the three large males trailing behind her. She sighed and turned back to the living, "I..Nevermind I must have tripped. I can help you restack them if you want?"

She started but they just kicked over her efforts and walked away without a second glance. She lowered her head feeling defeated. She picked up her empty can and began to mumble angrily to herself before heading back to her space on the couch.

Mikkish turned to face the stage as he finished downing his vodka. That kid...David. He really threw that douche looking guy who attacked him through a wall? The kid was so dumb, but only magic could allow a small guy like him to do something like that. David must have some brain somewhere to learn that kind of thing.

While rare it was, Mikkish actually started to regret his own action as well. He had just knocked out a member of the group who threw this party. Hopefully that didn't mean he was going to get banned. He didn't think when he did it, just wanted to help the David guy out cause its just not right to hurt a mental handicap. As it seemed now, however, perhaps David could help him out with strength like that. Mikkish' own physical buff only went as far knocking people out with a punch. Maybe, if a man was on the ground, he could kill the guy with a single curb stomp.

Regardless, Mikkish would not forget what David had just done. Nobody at that party would. Mikkish waited to see what Ace was going to do next.

"Excuse me, are you alright? Are you injured? I know some healing magic."

Donny groaned as he pushed himself off the ground his free hand holding his stomach. “T..that son of a bitch…” He coughed out. Donny began moving slowly back into the room his solid glare locked directly on David as he pushed people passed him.

David on the other hand had his attention focused on the free food as he was currently stuff his face with nachos. Donny’s hand clenched into a fist and in time water began to seep from his fingernails and smile crept over his face.

Donny raised his hand to David’s back but before any damage could be done a hand gripped Donny’s wrist.

    Ace

    Wait...what?

When had he moved from the stage? Not just that he’d moved half way across the room before anyone could notice.

“Donny.” Ace said with a gentle smile as he released his grip on Donny. Donny gritted his teeth but the water stopped flowing from his fingers. Ace turned his attention to the others. “No need for more violence on a day of celebration.”

I looked at the girl that had come outside to see if the man was alright, I was about to reply when he just got up and marched back inside. "I'd take that as 'it's just a scratch'." I said chuckling nervously. I got up and looked through the hole, I sighed deeply. "Oh god not again." I said, I was expecting the poor man to get thrown through yet another wall when suddenly... Ace was just standing there, holding the man's wrist. "A-Amazing..." I thought, I looked at the girl. "U-Um... s-should we go back inside...?" I asked quietly.

Jinx stood up when the young man walked back inside, preparing to leave if another fight ensued. When the other boy stopped him, she paused. She wavered, her feet unsteady at the intake of alcohol. She shook her head, closing her eyes as she clutched a table. Everyone in the room seemed to be on edge, and she felt she should say something as well. She took a few steps forward and lifted a cup of vodka. She gave a weak smiled and lifted the cup, as her thick Russian accent filled the room, "YES WE CELEBRATE! YASSAS! AND ENJOY THE VODKA!"

She took a big gulp and smiled looking around the room. When no one else spoke, she grew weary and a blush formed on her mouth, before she felt the urge to back up into the crowd. Stupid. Stupid. Now you look like the drunk foreign exchange student. She opened her mouth trying to find something else to say, before shutting it and looking at the people for encouragement.

I watch as the guy just got up and walked right back inside. "Yeah.....I'd say so too. Well that was pretty rude of him to not even address us!" I huff. Seeing the guy named Donny getting in trouble at least gave me a bit of satisfaction from his rudeness. I direct my attention over to the boy by me. "Oh, I guess we should go back inside shouldn't we? This party was a bit too chaotic for my tastes though." I turn to the boy and hold out my hand. "Well before we decide to march on back inside, let me introduce myself. My name is Rue. What may I call you?"

I turned to the girl and smiled. "Y-Yeah, this is kind of my first party, like ever, I hope that all parties aren't like this." I said chuckling nervously. "Though the host is cute..." I mumbled mainly to myself blushing lightly, I covered my mouth quickly when I realized that I had said it. "Er... oh, uh... nice to meet you R-Rue, I-I'm Joseph Hikari Nobunaga, but you can call me Joe... and ignore the calm effect thing... dunno why, but I just kinda do it." I said, I rubbed the back of my head with one hand and shook her hand with the other. "So, shall we head back in?" I asked, I really hoped she hadn't heard my comment on Ace...

"Cute?" Came a voice. It was Mikkish walking through the hole "Ace is a dude. What are you? Gay?" Mikkish asked. He had pretty good ears. Since the fight was over and David was okay, Mikkish had to check out the damage David had done. "Holy shit. That retard is stronger than he looks."

I looked at Mikkish. "Um... yeah I'm gay..." I said crossing my arms and looking to the side. "Before you ask, no I'm not interested in you, no I don't check you out, no I don't fantasize about you, no I'm not going to flirt with you unless I know your gay, to do such a thing would be wrong, no I didn't choose to be this way, no I'm not going to try to switch to women, no I haven't experimented with women, no I don't plan to, nor do I wish to." I said, it seems like I had been asked those questions many, many times... it was kind of a reflex by now to tell people that after they learned about my sexuality. It really was quite annoying... though it was probably the only sentence that I could say without a stutter to just about anyone...

Jinx sighed, feeling more self-conscious after time passed, and she moved away from the crowd, dumping her drink in the garbage before heading outside. She brushed her thick black hair away from her face and did up the buttons on the front of her jacket. She closed her eyes grasping the rail to try to clear her head. She swore sighing slightly when a voice spoke up to her left, "Stupid, pathetic little fools..all of those kids running around like arrogant pricks."

Jinx lifted her head to see an older gentleman with slick black eyes and harsh purple veins. She groaned, "If you don't appreciate the living. Go fuck yourself. I'm not in the mood to hear you bitching."

The man smiled as he looked at her,"A halfling. Haven't seen your type on these grounds in quite some time."

She began to walk, ignoring the old man, "Piss off. I don't wish to hear your problems tonight."

She paused as his form appeared in front of her, "Well you should listen. I have a message, and you are going to share it."

She stopped her blue eyes glossing over with a pale white. She took a step forward, "Back the fuck up man, or I will send your ass back to hell faster then you can say corpse."

He smirked, "Oh I'll find my way there in enough time. But first, your going to help me. I have a message for Mikkish."

She curved her head to the side, "Who's Mikkish?"

He pointed, towards a certain area, and Jinx rolled her eyes, but continued to listen as he continued, "You need to tell him that the book is wanted, and that if he doesn't release it to them the next day at 9 pm on the roof, trouble will head his way and all who befriend him."

She grit her teeth, stomping her foot, "No! I can't just go up to some random guy and say that. He's going to think I'm nuts. Also what are you getting at. I'm not going to let, anyone get hurt, if that is what you are implying."

He frowned, "Im implying nothing. I, like you, am the messenger, and was planning to write a more graphic image on the walls of his room. I figure this might be easier, and blood is usually hard to find these days."

She pursed her lips anger flaring, "Fine. But I want you gone. Now, and if I see you again. I will.."

He smirked,"Oh yes..send my "ass" to hell... gain more material, halfling. Now do your duty."

She swore moving in the direction he pointed to a small group of people by the hole in the building. She smacked her palm against her face before she pushed out her chest and walked forward until she was a few feet from the three people. She spoke up softly, her accent light and slightly irritated, "Umm..I'm sorry to interrupt, but I am looking for Mikkish, I have a message for him."

She fixed her eyes to the same blue hue, as normal, a chill moving up her spine.

The three looked at Jinx, offended by the interruption. One of them was telling a funny story, and Jinx had killed their buzz. "Who?" One of them asked.

"Hey, you're looking for Mikkish too, huh?" Came a voice from behind Jinx "Funny, I know exactly where he is." It was the goth girl from the stage that Mikkish had just punched out. It was Morgan. She was faking a calm mood, despite her anger at what Mikkish had done. "Come on." Morgan began walking towards the hole. Though she had no interest in helping Jinx send her message, she did want people to see what happened when you fucked with her.

    ------------------

"Uh...why?" Mikkish asked. Being southern, and having been raised by a pretty redneck set of parents, Mikkish was very ignorant of homosexuality. His problem with it wasn't based in religion; Mikkish was pretty anti Christian. He just didn't understand it. "Why would you want to fuck guys?" Mikkish also figured this was the reason Joe acted so timid and shy. Perhaps if Joe got laid...with a woman, of course, Joe's problem would be fixed.

But before Joe could answer, Morgan speed dashed through the hole and punched Mikkish in the back of the head, just like he did to her on stage. Mikkish was more pain tolerant though, and merely stumbled forward, holding the back of his head.

"AH! Ya bitch!" Mikkish spun around and threw a hook at Morgan's jaw, but she dodged successfully. They then continued fighting with physical buff. Mikkish didn't want to use pyrokinesis cause he feared he would set the whole building on fire, and Morgan was too blind by rage to focus on using her blood magic.

Jinx smiled, "Oh Thanks! I appreciate it. Sorry about what happened on stage. It looked like it hurt."

She followed the girl outside and then paused when she attacked Mikkish. She tried to be calm when they started to fight, but she had a budding headache and anger was beginning to surge through her. She looked at both of the two fighting and took a step forward her eyes going full white as she spoke in a deep Russian tone, "Augete spiritus, qui non est. Et dices ad eos libros repetendos existimaret, mortuum et spiritum denuo sub voluntate, et non quæratis pacem eorum et saturati sunt vivi."

Without question the sky got darker, and the ground began to shift beneath Jinx's feet. She twitched violently, her nose beginning to bleed when a large corpse like figure erupted from the ground and stepped forward. She re-positioned her footing and called out to the being in front of her, "Остановить эти два! СЕЙЧАС!"

The being nodded then leaped forward and took the brunt of both the two young mages attacks. He didn't even grunt before he kicked out at Morgan to push her back, and away from Mikkish. He held her fighting body back, without expression or emotion. Jinx breathed in and looked at the girl wearily, "JUST GIVE ME A FUCKING MINUTE AND THEN YOU CAN HAVE AT HIM. NOW YOU!"

She wiped her bloody nose on her jacket and pointed at Mikkish. "I have a message for you. So if you don't mind lowering your fists and giving me a second of your time. It will be much appreciated."

She was beginning to look pale, as she waited for a courteous response.

"Woah." Mikkish said, surprised at what Jinx had just done. It was quite impressive, at least to him, not just on Jinx' part, but the corpse was pretty strong to be holding a girl back that knew physical buff. He put his hands to his sides, ready to raise them again if this pale girl, or the corpse, tried anything.

"That was a bit extreme, ya know. Getting that corpse and all" Mikkish then looked at Morgan, who was struggling angrily to break free, and not the least bit surprised by the corpse "So what is this message?"

Jinx smirked, "Thankyou..Boris is quite useful when needed. Now I have a message from a deceased soul within this vicinity. He wanted me to tell you that the book is wanted? and that if you do not release it to them tomorrow at 9 pm on the roof, you and all your friends will be in trouble."

She paused, looking over the young man curiously, "Look dude I don't know who you are or what book you are hiding but this soul seemed serious. I hate getting into this shit seeming as we have just arrived here, but when they speak they speak, and usually never...GOD DAMN IT!"

She turned back around to Morgan, "RELAX! AND STOP HITTING BORIS! IT WON'T GET YOU ANYWHERE FAST..I CAN ASSURE YOU!"

She turned back to Mikkish, her frustration ebbing, "Sorry. His feelings are being hurt. Now I usually never offer to go further then necessary in order to be rid of ghosts, and I know that we do not know each other, but if you need help with your situation. I can aid where possible."

"Hm..." Mikkish said, pausing for a moment with a concerned expression. He though back to the book he had, and hoped she was merely crazy. The last thing in the world he wanted was to have to give up the book. "Have you seen a psychiatrist lately? You might want to look into it." He said, not entirely making fun, though it was kind of funny.

The book, as far as Mikkish knew, still sat in his dresser, in his locked up dorm room. Hopefully that would be enough security, and his fears of it being stolen were unreasonable.

"I appreciate the offer though. And I assure you there is no book."

She closed her eyes and clenched her fists, her tone becoming angry and sad, "I. AM. NOT. CRAZY. Seriously people never fucking change. Fine, whatever dude. Lie to me all you want. I don't care, but I can assure you I am not lying when it comes to the dead. They aren't going to leave you alone, and they aren't going to ignore this."

She opened her eyes, and spoke softly, "Отпусти ее Борис." The corpse stood back from the girl and began to sink back within the dirt. Jinx gasped, as she covered her now gushing nose and began to walk away, tears falling down her cheeks as she moved. I knew this would happen. I knew it. Oh their's Jinx the crazy girl who runs around seeing things that aren't there. You would think someone here who can perform various forms of magic would believe me but no. She wiped at her cheeks before stopping by a park bench and taking a seat. She sighed before plugging up her nose and shutting her eyes. "I hope your fucking happy you old dead bastard."

I was about to answer Mikkish's question when suddenly the goth woman just flew through the wall and began to fight with him. "Oh... please stop this... t-this isn't right... you're going to hurt each other...!" I said watching the fight worried, unsure of what to do. I stepped back as suddenly a corpse just came out of nowhere and the girl that had accompanied the goth woman had began shouting at them and then the corpse in Russian. I listened to her warning. "...What roof does she mean...?" I wondered, I looked off toward where the school was. "Could she mean the school's roof...?" I wondered, I looked back at her.

I looked at Mikkish as he denied it completely and even joked about the girl's abilities. "...Mikkish, you should be more serious... You cannot deny the existence of spirits, if you do, then you deny the abilities that you and I possess, because if spirits and those that can commune with them are a fantastical idea, so is magic..." I said quietly, I looked at the girl as she walked off and looked at Mikkish. "That was rude Mikkish, you should take her warning seriously, if you have some kind of book, it isn't wise to keep it if you're going to endanger yourself and others, I'd like to continue living. Oh and one last thing... I like men because I'm attracted to them, women aren't attractive to me, don't try to change me or else I'll never speak to you again, many people have tried to 'cure' me, but it won't work and it never will, ignorance like yours and those others are astounding, and if you can't accept me for me, I don't want to be around such negativity and arrogance." I said with a startling display of anger, with that, I turned and walked away, after the girl, I knew she'd be upset... I knew she'd feel that way, because that was how I felt whenever people called me a demon and a freak over my strange calming aura.

I found the girl on a park bench crying, I walked up to her nervously. "Excuse me... are you alright?" I asked, I pulled out a handkerchief and held it out to her. "Er... if you need it, you can have it, I have another." I said trying to smile and cheer the girl up.

Jinx looked up, and quickly tried to wipe her eyes. She looked at the handkerchief and the young boy and gave a small smile, "Thankyou. I am just a right mess."

She took it gingerly and began to wipe her cheeks and nose. She spoke softly, "Thanks. I shouldn't get so emotional about this. I am just tired. Thankyou. I appreciate your kindness. I'm Jinx by the way. Not that you asked but I'm Jinx. Hi. Hello. Sorry I'm usually a little more put together."

She tried to straighten herself, but slumped feeling tired and just defeated.

"It's fine, I'm Joseph Hikari Nobunaga, but you can just call me Joe." I said smiling softly, I sat down next to her. "It's okay not to be put together... especially when people say hurtful things like that, trust me, I tended to cry a lot when people called me a freak... I thought Mikkish of all people would be more understanding of abilities that aren't part of our comprehension..." I said looking to the side.

I just stayed quiet for a little while, trying to think of something to say to help her cheer up... so I decided to draw on my past a little, this felt kind of like the same situation I was in, though here I might be more accepted, though by the looks of things, it isn't the same for her. "You know, I started to look at it this way, I'm special, I have an ability that no one else has, something that could one day save a life or something, and those people just call me a freak and a demon because they don't understand or they're scared... so... I guess that'd be my advice, just ignore those people and just be who you are, you're special and you have a greater purpose on this world than others, you'll go on to do great things..." I said looking up at the sky.

She listened pensively, feeling actually cheered up that someone was going through the same thing she was. She looked over at him, and spoke softly, "That's really sweet Joe. I didn't know you were such a philanthropist. I appreciate you trying to make me feel better."

She leaned back and spoke softly, "This may sound horrible, but I am happy I'm not the only one who was treated that way. I mean it's just nice to know that judgement can be placed on others. I sure hope I do great things. Only thing I seem to be doing now is cause trouble. I hate to be a bitch, but I was serious about that warning. I think he could seriously be in deep trouble. I don't know why it even bugs me, but there's something off here."

She looked at him warily, "I can't get the image of that man in the alley out of my head. Gruesome, and almost an omen in my opinion. I don't know I could just be blabbing."

I looked back at her and smiled. "It's no problem, if people just sit around and do nothing then nothing gets done, the same thing continues to happen over and over before something horrible happens." I said, then my smile went away as she talked about the warning. "I was thinking about that actually when I was coming to find you... you said that a spirit told you, but of course the spirits would have no interest in a book, that means that he was just a messenger, right?" I asked.

"So that means that someone who can commune with the dead, even order them around, sent him, that means that it was an especially powerful mage, I mean one has to be strong in order to keep a spirit bound to their service until a task is done, otherwise you could request a spirit to do something, and then they could just not do it, and this person, needed that message delivered to Mikkish, he needed it to be threatening, so what else to use but a spirit? If a spirit were to give me such a message I wouldn't take it lightly..." I said.

"Then comes the murder... what if we were meant to find that body? I mean many people must've passed that alley before we arrived, yet we were the ones to discover the murder, what if it were some type of magic that had kept the body hidden until the intended person walked past it? What if the murder wasn't an omen, but a warning, a warning to Mikkish, think about the words 'If your eyes cause you to sin, pluck them out', I mean when you read, you obviously use your eyes. So whatever in that book must be very important, because one, Mikkish is definitely lying, since there would be no need to send Mikkish such a message unless the culprit were one hundred percent sure that it was in his possession. Two, no one would go through such lengths to get that book unless it were important. Three, if it weren't important then Mikkish would just give up that book without a second thought, he wouldn't endanger himself just to keep something that wasn't important." I said.

"Um... anything wrong with my thinking?" I asked, I chuckled as I realized that I had been rambling, I hadn't given her a moment to interject or even add in her own opinion.

She paused listening patiently, before speaking up, "I believe he would be a messenger. The immortal rules are very clear. Either the soul is forced to obey a master or is willing. When a soul is forced to bend, it can either break and lose retribution or turn into a wicked deceitful entity. Looking at the soul, I would say he was willing. Those that have broke, and I have only seen one once, do not have personality or emotion left within them. I am also aware that the spirit was a poltergeist which is a high level ghoul that can cause pain and mischief if enticed. So to answer your question. Yes whoever sent him cannot only see him, but is intimidating enough to scare him. That's why I'm worried."

She took a breath, and then continued, "I happen to feel the same, as if the body was intentional, and purposely set up for someone. I agree that Mikkish is the lead subject at the moment, but I don't think he's evil or meaning to cause harm with whichever book he is hiding. I would say the poor soul was left to ask but he must have passed on when someone took his life." She shut her swollen dark eyes and breathed out, "I could do a seance but it's very time consuming, and I can't guarantee I will get a reading, plus if I could, not saying that I would. I would need Mikkish and one other person to be present. Anything less then four people would be to dangerous."

She stared at him patiently, "I don't want to impose on other peoples business, but I know I would regret not doing anything and someone got hurt. What do you think?"
