Seems okay so far. Font is smaller and a bit harder on the eyes, especially the text in light blue on white.

See the initial post of the thread. Daniel hasn't had time to get the blogs working again yet. :)

It appears the timeout for edits is too short. As a typo queen, I would sure appreciate if that was longer.

Actually, I think it was set on indefinite. But 2 days is probably more than enough time.

SpaG errors? A new one to me. :)

Thanks Cog -... that's what I get for skim reading.

Looks good! I had no issues with the original lay-out though, but this looks nice, so far so good :)
If the edit time hasn't been changed yet, I'd also vote for a longer time frame 'cause I too sometimes go back to fix embarrassing typos...

Does the stunted edit time apply to original posts? If so, that's going to make it impossible to notify that there is a corrected version later in the thread.

The "Important Information" drop down menu says "new reader basis". Is that a typo that should be "basics"?

Pretty swish, Daniel. It all seems much smoother than it was before. The layout feels a bit alien, but I'll get used to it.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I just tried to import the blogs but came across a problem - I'll do some work on a test installation and try again later. I hope to get the blogs back sometime today.

A few things I need to address that some of you have mentioned.

Usergroups: I need to re-establish New Member, Registered Member, Senior Member, Contributing Member, and Supporter as independent usergroups. Once I do that we'll have badges again and the settings will be closer to what they were before (the edit time limit, for example).

    Thanks. I completely agree.

    I'll try tweaking it.

I'm having some problems with the blogs but they will be back, yes. :D

    Woops! Nice catch.

I'll be compiling a to-do list in the first post of this thread - that way if something's not listed I might not be aware of the issue yet. Thanks guys.

Is this why I keep getting an annoying pop-up login prompt on every new page load today, even though I'm clearly logged in and can post? Additional info - the popup does not recognize my login credentials and continues to pop up until I hit Cancel.

This is odd since I'm having no problems. I'm assuming you checked "keep me logged in", right?

Yes, Ginger. I suspect it depends on what groups the member is part of.

I'm a software engineer with plenty of experience with web applications. I did check the obvious possibilities before I posted about this.

I like it. I was away for a few days and it got put up while I was gone, and it's taking me a bit of time to find everything. As Lemex said, there are some quirks with moderating tools ("Where did they go? Oh, there they are! But they don't work the way they used to ..."). Have patience with us, everyone! (Please?)

I was getting this problem before. It stopped for a while until I connect to a new wi-fi connection.

Now it's popping up again. Looks like this:

I'm getting that pop-up now as well. The first time I logged in after the upgrade I got it until I actually logged in; now I'm getting it with each new page I look at. And yeah, I hit cancel to get rid of it - doesn't seem to cause any problems doing that, other than annoyance.

I think I solved the login prompt, can someone confirm? Where you not seeing the header image before, but are now able to?

I was calling for a while within a password protected directory, thus the prompt.

It didn't pop up, but it was only once for me.

Now it's only popping up on the main page. It doesn't pop up when I'm reading a thread or in a subforum.
