If you wish to buy scalpel blades (5-100 pack) they will throw in a handle #3 or #4 along with it
in most cases. Seems they feel you need to be able to actually use the blades, or start a handle
collection. :p (Also people will use scalpels for craft work).

All of the scalpels I've used came handle and all in a surgically sterile single use prepack. I know they're cheaper to buy separate, but I don't have an autoclave.

The most requested wedding gift (on a certain popular gift registry site) has always been a KitchenAid stand mixer.

The romans had no concept of "zero" (in fact, despite their engineering excellence, they were rubbish mathemeticians)

Zero wasn't really invented until someone in India had a zero column on an abacus around fifteen hundred years ago. Muslim arabs brought it to Europe around the eighth century.

No matter how still you are, you are always in motion because the planet is hurdling at
10k mph. So you never physically stop, even when you think you have. :p

In 2013, the Egyptian government held a secret meeting to discuss its opposition to a proposed dam project.

The meeting was accidentally aired on live television.

Indeed. How hard is it to fail to air something live on national TV?

Like....why would you even have a secret off the books meeting where it could be aired? It`s not a Fred hit the wrong button silly Fred thing, so many things had to actively be in place for this to even accidentally happen.

Even pet chinchillas get dust bathes at least mine did. Wasn't lava dust....cant imagine how expensive that would be but there was a dust bath mixture shed roll in or something like that. She lived in a Barbie dream Castle so her bath was set up on the balcony.

At 1,084', Emley Moor radio mast is taller than both the Shard in London and the Eiffel Tower in Paris

    Apparently.
