Putting stuff in front of the tv might be a great idea until one wants to watch something that has important info on the bottom of the screen.

    • Syncope- means cutting up; losing one or more sounds from the interior of a word
      • Ex: Over becomes “o’er”
    • Apocope- shorten a name by losing part of a word
      • Ex: Oculum becomes “Ocul”
    • Apheresis- the loss of one or more sounds from the beginning of a word
      • Ex: the silent K in Knife

Okay, just heard this and I want to see how legit of an information this is. It's ridiculous... Here goes: In medieval England, even pests and animals stood in trial to get convicted. Slugs, mice, pigs, etc. They'd also get tested the same ways humans were in order to prove their innocence. Get burned by heated iron bars, thrown into cold water all tied up, etc. I wonder how this worked out for the slugs. :superthink: Is this true?

Hey! Aykroyd may be old, and possibly extinct, but calling him a dinosaur is a but much, don't you think? :p

Unless fact maybe but not sure. I looked it up for my story. Female iguanas can be spayed. Of course the female iguana in my story is actually a female dragon hatchling.
Wait is hatchling the right term? I think my dragon is too old to be a hatchling but still a baby. What would that be called? The dragon is a bit over a year old in the story.

Not sure how authoritative it is, but it might help.

    1. Red kangaroos have such strong bones and muscles in their tail, that they actually use it to propel themselves forward. Many scientists call it a third tail.

    2. Trying to hide illicit drug use through water dilution is pretty much a waste of time. The range of specific gravity of urine (the ratio of its density compared to the density of water) is so small (1.001-1.035), that anything more than a few thousandths deviation from this (by using enough water to actually dilute illicit drugs) would be an obvious sign of tampering.

Looks to be true. These articles cover it for a start and books by historians are mentioned:

There are non binary trees which are self fertile

and actually there are male trees which have pseudo flowers to collect other males pollen - the intent here is evolutionary advantage rather than sexual gratification but you could say they were gay (or rather bi since they also fertilise female trees)
