    Mason and Dixon were both Englishmen. Jeremiah Dixon was from Durham, around where I'm living now (I'm about 30 miles from where he was born) and Charles Mason was from Gloucestershire.

    (Maybe it's just me, for a long time I thought they were both born in America.)
