Nothing to do all day. Might as well sit here on a bucket, with a cup of water, and write my story in my phone.

Ohio is considered the 17th state. However, Congress neglected to vote on the resolution to admit Ohio until 1953.

Completely useless fact post. In fact, this post is so far beyond useless, useless looks at this post and asks for help in being useless. The useless fact is this is my 150th post, and I put it here.

A "ton of money," literally two thousand pounds of US $100 bills, would be about $90 million. Remember that the next time you have a character show up for a deal with a few millions bucks in a suit case. Each million weighs 20.4 lbs.

Interesting, IIRC, the pallet in "Breaking Bad" was calculated at around $80m. I worked in a textbook warehouse for a summer, so I know about shifting a ton of paper in 45lb boxloads...

Not necessarily an useless fact if you live in California, but Calli is preparing for a nuclear attack/fallout with public announcements like we had in the 60s.

Haven't heard Alabama doing any prep-work. Still... must be scary for them.

Minnesota isn't prepping either unless you count that 5 lb bag of flour and 2 cans of spam I have in the bottom cabinet in the kitchen.
Oh shoot, I need to remember to pick up coffee too.

This is because what is now known as Tarzana is named after Tarzan. It used to be a ranch owned by Edgar Rice Burroughs. I live about a fifteen-minute drive from there.

I usually write randomly without thinking and end up with something around the lines of:

"Help!! I'm trapped inside your mind! Please let me out, end my suffering"

Not sure where it comes from.

That are topics that everybody can relate to and has an opinion about. Even though some opinions should better not be had by anybody.

Earplugs and a gas mask or respirator can curb both quite a bit.

Margaret Mitchell read library books while recuperating from a car crash(this was pre-seatbelt, mind you). Her husband got tired of running back to the library for more books, so he jokingly told her to try writing one instead. She did. You may have heard of it, it was called Gone With the Wind.

Supposedly, if you pack too many pistachios in a container they can generate enough heat to spontaneously combust.
