Does your local wireless connection actually disconnect or are you just suddenly not able to access the internet but it looks connected?
Looks connected, and it only seems to help if I either restart the computer, or sometimes if I just keep going to “new (IP? I think) settings”
Do guitars come in different sizes (like where finger placement could be closer together or spaced further apart)? Because my mom has a guitar, and I tried to learn on that, and then my brother got a guitar, and he and his wife tried to teach me, but my hands were too small to be able to get all the fingering right. I'm like the guy on those Burger King commercials.
You would need a guitar with a shorter neck, and therefore also less tension on the strings. The spacing on the frets is detemined by the total string length from the bridge to the nut.
Hidden: Right now I’m playing on a little guitar because I have nothing else. You can go to Target (maybe somewhere else) and by a cheap learning guitar that small. Your fingers will stretch apart as you play.
That makes sense. I don't know why I always just assumed that all guitars were the same size... Cool! I'll look into it, then. I've always wanted to play the guitar. Dude, that would be so cool.
I'd go into the device manager and check the properties for your wireless net card. Make sure Power Saving Mode is off. That could possibly explain why a reboot would fix it. Your voice is pretty enough that you don't need to play one. I, on the other hand, am out of luck there.
I'm not a fan of Country. Not at all. But their espousal of the mandolin and ability to take the mandolin from Irish Folk to Bluegrass and back again within the same song is the reason for my love of Nickel Creek.
Whatever, Rob, your voice is awesome, too. You both sound amazing. I love Nickel Creek! I'm not a big country person, either, but I've always loved that group.
My favorite use of the mandolin is in Zeppelin's beautiful Going to California. Aww, shucks Heather. I disagree with you, but I'm certainly glad that you and others like it. I love singing and I think I sound ok while I sing, but then when I hear it played back I cringe. I think this is because sound traveling away from you sounds different than sound coming towards you.
You can hear Lydia sing in a duet she did with me. Visit my latest blog entry for the link. Her voice is angelic.
I'm the same way. I used to sing in church and stuff, and everyone always said it sounded really good, but then I hear it, and I'm like urgh...sounds weird. I'm like that with my speaking voice, too. I sound ok when I'm talking, but as soon as I hear my voice on a recording, I think I sound a little like a dude. Truth. I love that duet.
Hey everyone. If it helps I'll record myself singing. One listen and you will all swear you are pros.
I just listened to it. Really good. That is Lydia’s voice? Where did that come from? Awesome. Yeah, and Lava, your voice is good, a whole lot better than my four-note range.
*gaspgasp* I just been on a good 40-min walk and I'm sweaty and my legs are tired. Good walk though. *gaspgasp*
I'm testing out a new internet connection. My old neighbor's network was just too fussy. The new guy seems solid. I can even use the net in parts of the apartment that were previously dead-zones.
Just around my big neighborhood. Thankfully it wasn't the summer and 100 degrees F. That would have sucked big time.
