    Hi Chim!

We've got a little party in here now. It seems like every time I've been on the past couple days it's been either me and me alone or me and one other person...

I work at 11. A nice little change from the crazy shifts that I've been working.

I am. A little hungry, but otherwise great. :) How's your son? I hope things are going well.

My son is fine, he is almost back to normal. It will be three months before he can resume any kind of physical activity. That is by far the most frustraiting for him, he loves his basketball, running, and golf.

Hmm...I am getting hungry as well. I should go find something to snack on. :)

Well, he should still be able to play golf, shouldn't he? That's not a physical activity. :p;) Seriously, though, I'm glad to hear he's doing well. Not being able to do physical activity would drive me crazy too, but just imagine how great it will be for him when he finally gets to start back up!

I have candy cane kisses downstairs...but that's probably not a good breakfast for me...

hahaha...I completely agree about the golf, Hidden.

Now, candy cane kisses sounds great! :D

True...but I have to say, sometimes I enjoy a few empty calories. ;)

I did lose 15 pounds a few months back, so I most likely shouldn't go and gain it all back. I can't help it, those candy kisses are making me want to go out and buy some. :p

Yeah, I've been trying really hard to lose a few more pounds before the wedding, and I think these kisses are undoing all that hard work. Curse you, delicious holiday treat!

hahaha..Tell me about those holiday treats...actually, I put down a whole quart of Pumpkin Spice Eggnog.
Yeah, I wasn't too happy with myself about that one.
I just couldn't help myself...I was overtaken by the deliciousness. ;)

lol that's great! Mine will probably earn its own nickname soon, too.

So I'm reading my Shape magazine, and there's this little blurb about a woman who tried to find a doll to buy her daughter, and all of them had "makeup, short skirts, and belly button rings," which she felt didn't send a positive image. I can understand the short skirts, but what's wrong with makeup or belly button rings? My belly button is pierced...I don't have poor self image...

You know...I just don't understand people. I wish my subscription hadn't ran out last month, I would have loved to have read that.

I never had a problem with any of the dolls I bought for my daughter when she was a child.

Well, maybe she thought it wouldn't be a wise parenting choice to encourage her child that she could get her bellybutton peirced. I can see her reasoning.

I never heard my parents say anything about mine, either. There was a barbie that got recalled because it had a tattoo (god forbid we let our kids play with a barbie that has a tattoo!), and my parents let me go out and buy the tattooed ones before they got pulled so that I could have them.

I can understand not wanting to encourage your kid to get her belly button pierced if that's not something you agree with (my parents are horrified that I have mine pierced), but I still don't think that a doll with a pierced belly button is sending a negative image...also, I spend a lot of time in toy stores (I collect Barbies), and it's way easier to find one sans button ring than it is with one.

    Hello agian, all.

I just took Lee Lee for walkies and was hoping to give her a special treat in that I took her walking where William and I go walking with friends on the weekend.

A very pretty little manicured wooden walkway that goes through a rather exclusive neighborhood (I want to buy a house there!) with huge royal poinciana trees, ancient mango trees and a very elegant, boulder strewn river running along side.

I think it was all a bit much for her.

She didn't seem to enjoy it.

I guess Lee Lee just doesn't appreciate the scenery the way you do...

Yes, you are. :p Cog changed it.

Edit: Nice new avi, by the way! I like it. :)
