I'm not going anywhere in this weather. Not that I have any sort of social life anyway.

Would you like some cheese and crackers with that whine???

Yeah, I HAD the ol' winter coat. But, somehow I've managed to lose my only coat. So, now I'm left with this nice denim 'Rocawear' jacket, which does not help in the true cold.

    Yes, thank you! :D

I have a nice social life at school, but I live so far from everyone that it's hard to really hang out with anyone outside of school. So, I feel you there.

Wow, what's it like to have a social life? I don't even have any friends, except 2 who live far from me. Feeling very sorry for myself. Guess I should go to the office Christmas party next week, eh?

 heh, the only thing I had to do today was head over to the DMV. Which, I did at ten o'clock, and it closes at noon. I didn't think there would be much of a problem in a small town like mine, but it was completely packed, and I get skiddish around big crowds if I'm alone or don't no anyone. Like, I felt like I walked in and everyone was like staring at me, it's kinda pathetic, seeing as how I should be used to big groups and whatnot by now. However, sometimes it still gets me. So, I ended up just leaving.

Those damn things are always packed with someone complaining about some menial bylaw that they had problems with, it's irritating.

Y'know now that you mention it, everyone there seemed like tense and had a negative energy about'em. I walked in with a spring in my step and was cornered by lots of angries! Then, it said go to the information desk, and for some reason I thought that would mean to pick the one on the side, which obviously was the one in the middle. There was a sign there too though, so I read that, THEN decided to get out of there. So, in the end I looked like some weird that just kinda ran in, read two signs and left. Good thing I'll probably never see any of those people again. Or, if I do they won't remember that probably.

Awkward situations are always silly to look back on. But they probably didn't notice you, and definitely won't remember. It's part of their job title to conveniently forget.

DMVs are full of angry people. And bored people and frustrated people and people in a rush. Generally not pleasant places to be.

Yeah thanks guys, never really been in a DMV too many times. Next time I'll be y'know, mentally prepared for WAR! heh, or something to that effect.

Well as long as you don't piss off the crabby lady at the desk (and don't take their crap), all will be well.

Hey guys! The people at the DMV have always been really nice to me... Maybe it's cuz I'm young and look like I'm scared of them.

Noted! Probably should get in there early too, probably wouldn't be as crowded. Well, anyone reading anything particularly interesting recently?

I'm reading Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass at the moment, which most wouldn't find interesting one bit, but I like it. Also compared to all the damn colonial journals and sermons I've had to read all semester, it's a god send.

Hey, Emily. Nice to meet you! Maybe you just have friendlier people where you live.

No, my history teacher is ADD and we don't really stick to anything long term. He had us do a paper a month ago, and we haven't even gotten our rough drafts back to do the final.
