True. I love buying stuff for my nephew, but it would be much more fun if he actually cared. Ah well. A couple more years, and he'll love it.

 

i love buying all my gifts online because i hate shopping. ha~ i always splurg on clothes when i'm with my mom though - because i'll go in the dressing room with about four or five things and she'll wander the racks and bring tons of sale stuff and i'll just try them on.

 

*slips quietly back into the tavern and lays back down on the couch by the fire*

 

we got a fire?! *goes to find marshmellows to burn.. roast... burn*

 

*brings hot chocolate and madeleines*

 

I'm stealing some marshmallows for my hot chocolate, okay?

 

So how's everyone's day been so far?

*Sips hot chocolate and warms other hand with the fire.*

 

Um... not vey much. Been doing a bit of Christmas decorating, uh... rehearsing my Spanish, listening to music, making bread, packing in presents, picking up my siblings at music school, eating cookies...

What about you?

 

Had some tough and disappointing classes today, and the dining hall put out terrible food so I ended up with a stomach ache. I hate to be Mr. Grumpers, but I'm not having a very good day. But I haz Hot Chocolate! (actually!) So that's kinda tasty. But I haz no marshmallows...

Cookies sound delicious as well, I might make a large batch next week when I go visit my parents for the holidays.

Yeah, cookies... planning on making a lot too... Christmas cookies.

Eating bread right now, actually. I just took it our of the oven before and it's... delicious!

What kind of bread? Home made bread is always delicious, my mom used to make it all the time when I lived there.

I'm totally making all kinds of cookies during Christmas too for the family, but I also want to make my own special batch for myself to stick in my fat chef cookie jar haha.

Uh... I don't know if it really has a name... I just used plain white flour, so...

Oh, I'd also really want to make a cookie house... with lots of candy for decoration.

 

I do that with my little sister, and then it stays for a few days around the house. And then we eventually want the candy and take bits off in secret and then blame each other when mom asks.

 

I think I need to have the soundtrack to Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist.

 

Lol, yeah... I've made one before with my siblings... probably more candy was eaten while decorating than used for the house.

But yeah... I can't wait to cook the turkey either!

Agreed, I can't help enjoying that movie too. I think I saw it like three times in the theatre. (the cheap theatre, hell if I'm paying for overpriced tickets.)

 

Grrr....yeah that's about the extent of my evilness right now haha.

 

I think it's super adorable that Nick is in a gay band and they are all about getting him hooked up.

The band members are hilarious, I love the scene where their initially hooking them up while trying to jumpstart his crappy little car. The whole movie basically made me smile. Except for the gum...
