Well, I'm back from the long trip from Florida with the new boat. It seems the gods decided to unleash whatever torment they wanted.

Twice I ran into dead end roads and had to painstakingly back out.

On the way there, I was engulfed by this fog so thick, so dense that you could hardly see a mile. Oh, and the heavens decided, in a last ditch effort, to unleash a thunderstorm on me with wind picking up and lightening flashing like the dramatic climax of a Hollywood flick.

But I made it back safe and sound with my boat. :D TAKE THAT MOTHER NATURE!!

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Um, no! I haven't done anything to piss Mother Nature off. Nope! :p Nothing like proudly boasting to myself in my head that with my boat, I'm the master of the water and land, the manipulatior of Creation and all that stuff that you'd read about in ambitious young captians of new boats. :D

I'm here, dropping in and out.

I am writing a paper describing what opportunities Chinese college students face and the issues at hand in China they have a voice in.

    How are you?

I obviously have seen you in this thread and around the forums but haven't chatted with you yet. Here's my official hello!

Ditto to the hello. And it's US History. My teacher is really cool, for our paper he told us to write about something in history that affected someone somewhere somehow.

That is pretty lax. Nice. Mine isn't too bad either. It's broad about a subject I study quite extensively.

What are you in school for?

Random comment: China declared in 2007 its single-child policy had prevented 400 million births. Isn't that something? Not only is that number greater than the number in the United States, they prevented it. It boggles my mind

Edit: Sorry, i assumed you were in college without checking your profile first

    Haha a very enthusiastic hug...excellent description. :)

They're going pretty good. One of the planning sites that I'm on has a little countdown with how many days are left and how many things I still need to do, and the number of things to do is higher than the number of days left, which is making me nervous. We'll get it all done, though, I just like to stress myself out. I just need to finish writing my vows, and then everything else will be easy. I'm so excited!

The ceremony is February 2nd, and the reception is the 4th. And yes, I will post tons and tons of pictures! :D We're going to have a videographer, too, so I'll try to at least post a little clip of the ceremony, if I can.
