Actually I learned about that from the Disney Channel movie Full Curt Miracle. It just came out on TV and it's about Jewish kids who can't play basketball. Disney's trying to play to every deomographic.

I was just about to say that! I love how we are all so accepting and even excited for a holiday that some of us don't celebrate.

This site is so happy and accepting. It goes against everything of my knowledge of teh interwebz. It's a bit unnerving. In a good way, I'm sure.

 

Is everyone's life full of awesome? Mine is (sorta), because my aunt Sara came home from california! The only bad thing is that she came back because her brother (Uncle Steve) isn't doing well at all, and he's only getting worse. But she and my grandma Linda (her sister--Steve, Sara and Linda are all siblings) are hilarious together, and they keep quoting their grandma's weird sayings. One of them is when you're mad, to say "You make my a** chew gum!"


None of us gets it at all. Which is what makes it funny!

Another "angry" expression is "Christ on a bicycle!"

 

It takes work to make it and keep it that way. Many websites allow for a very loosie-goosie way of running things and eventually that allows for malcontents, bullies, snarks, trolls, and generally not-nice people to take over.

You will find that wf.org has a few more rules (that are well enforced) than do other web-forums, and the whole reason for that is to maintain a place that is friendly for people who appreciate a friendly place.
