Yeah it's a fortress so it's got some history. Mary Queen of Scots was holed up there during a military campagin where she had to be smuggled out. Oliver Cromwell also tried to capture it etc.

My sis has hired it for the night so the wedding budget is somewhat blown!

I've heard it's haunted so it could make for some interesting night time shennanigans!

She's rented out an entire castle?! Didn't even know that sort of thing was possible. "Oh hey, I rented a castle!" For lack of a better term, awesome!
Of course here in the states we're a little short on the castle front.
It's a bummer.
