This is the imdb plot summary: "In California, the Caucasian Chris Mattson and his Afro-American wife Lisa Mattson move to a house in a safe compound. The racist and dysfunctional next door neighbor is the abusive LAPD Officer Abel Turner that feels uncomfortable with the relationship of the newcomers and transforms their lives in Hell on Earth."
I once saw a movie with a similar plot. It had Samuel Jackson, but he tortured his Asian neighbors. That, or I'm confusing it with the movie you're just seeing.
LOL well this is Samuel Jackson torturing his neighbors (white husband, black wife), so unless he's done a similar movie, I think it's the same one. Came out last year.
Oh, yeah, then it's the same. Samuel Jackson... I can't think about him without laughing ever since I saw Dave Chappelle's Show. "IT'S ME, SAMUEL JACKSON, AND THIS IS MY GOD-MADDA$%$%$ TASTIN' BEER!"
Okay, you know the person cutting your hair is an idiot if you have to fix when you get home. I tell her, same length all around, and she has it gradually getting longer the closer I get to the front, making the back an inch shorter than the front, "because it's wavy." Does this women know anything about humidity and hair. My hair only gets that wavy on the most humid days of the year, today being one of those days. Even if it was like that all the time, SHE DID NOT DO WHAT I TOLD HER! And I think I made it worse trying to fix it.
Man, I'm sorry, Rei. I stopped going to professional stylists when someone at Ulta practically gave me a mullet. Now I cut my own hair, and sometimes it looks horrible, but at least it's free.
Why didn't she listen to you? You should ask your money back if she didn't to what you asked her... Anyway, my sisters always do my hair so if they do it wrong I still can kill them.
My sister isn't a stylist, but she's really good at cutting hair, so I used to have her do mine, but now she works two jobs and is a busy girl... I should still have her do my hair. She owes me like hundreds upon hundreds of dollars, so once upon a time we had a deal that she would cut and color my hair when I needed it done to work off her debt. Perhaps someone should remind her of this deal...
Thankfully, I discovered recently that I look okay with a scarf tied around my hair the way some Muslim and Orthodox Jewish women do. I think I'm going to let it grow out for the next few weeks, and then get a trim somewhere else.
That's good! I used to wear those in high school a lot...I love them. Though if you're like me, the skin underneath your eyebrows may be red for the next couple days.
In Toronto, they are so strict about stuff related to gangs that you're not allowed any headgear unless it's for cultural/religious reasons. Just cuz you like it isn't a good enough reason.
